A pampering hotel, just come and relax Excellent food, everything is very quiet, pool, massage, view of the Carmel Mountains, everything is pastoral.. I would give it a 3.5. Room was spacious and comfortable and our porch had a nice view of Carmel mountains, score of 5. Only one outdoor pool which is very nice without chlorine, a plus. The pool design is very aesthetic. . No control over smoking which was all over pool area and not just in designated areas. No one cares and it was annoying. There are two broken jacuzzis outdoors and no indoor pool. we had 1/2 board. Thursday dinner was great. Breakfasts and Shabbat dinner were mediocre compared to other Israeli hotels. Buffet dishes were in general not hot enough. Restaurant Service was very cordial. Check in Lobby and bar area is designed nicely and dining room atmosphere is pleasant. The spa is nice but nothing special. The reflexology treatments were excellent. Many things in infrastructure were not 100% maintained.

Beautiful hotel in a middle of nowhere. I spend 2 night with my husband in half board. Hotel is very well designed,decorated, in front of mount carmel. Rooms are pretty big and bed is confortable. The food is good the burger bar as well, the entrecote was tasty!!! Service at the pool was very good,yakir is doing a good job. Everyday we had a class of pilates or sport in the pool with sharona who was very professional and very nice. Now let s talk about the thing to improve. The music at the pool is a No No,way too loud and house music doesn t suit this kind of hotel . Cleaning in the facilities need to be improved as well windows in the rooms. Coktails are very limited . Overall this hotel is nice i recommended .

Despite some bad reviews on here, I was hesitant at first. As a frequent traveller this boutique hotel is an absolute gem of a place. Hotel staff are absolutely amazing and hats off to Jerry! Food : huge selection of foods and delicious Pool: more of a plunge pool, shame it’s not bigger. Front desk: Daniel an amazing guy! All in all a wonderful experience and will return.

Very warm welcome at check in. We really enjoyed our stay at the Kedem. The pool was beautiful, calm and refreshing . The staff go out of their way to make sure that you enjoy your stay. Restaurant on site,where we enjoyed a lovely evening.

This was supposed to be a new, top notch hotel. Hotel room was fine if you are not a detailed oriented person. Decor of the rooms is NOTHING special. Boring rather. Lobby is nice. But then you start to look closer and things in room are falling apart not because they are old, because they were never done right in the first place. The fire extinguisher on our floor was ripped off and tapped back together what can only be assumed but someone with one hand. The entire hotel is one unfinished sloppy job. You go out to this beautiful pool. Looks nice but it faces undeveloped land with cows moo-ing in what looks like a dump. The rock on the pool deck is cracked, broken or filled with cigarettes. Nobody cares or nobody cleans? The bathroom (handicapped) by the pool has no trash can to throw away whatever you need, and no soap. So the entire experience becomes very poor. They need to seriously get it together and take care of this property for the prices they are commending. Wont be paying this money again for this property. There are boutique hotels we stayed in the area for $150-175 price range that had renovated clean properties much nicer than this one. Too bad because the front desk staff was really great. So they got good staff but property falling apart.
