黎明農莊(Dawn Ranch)

I went solo to celebrate my birthday and selected a smaller cabin. It was really tight. The grounds are amazing and I enjoyed the spa. It would be worth it to ensure you get accommodations well away from Hwy 116 and get one of the larger units. It would be worth it! Also, the restaurant is closed during the week, so I had to travel to get lunch and dinner. Be aware before you book!

well suited property in a serene and peaceful location. It was worth the time and well suited for what we planened and set out to do. I will tell others and wiull definitely come back soon. The community is also rey good. We walk tol the bar at night and it was very safe. I am not sure what elae to say, but requiring 100 words which I know what you are trying to do but may make others abandon the survey

2 bedroom cabins are located across a highway and not on the main campus- this means you need to pack up your car and drive over to the main campus every time you want a meal or do an activity. Then the parking lot ia full on the main campus. For families with young kids this is horribly inconvenient. Also, the 2 bedroom cabins are basically located around a parking lot with no grass for kids to run and the pictures make it seem like everyone is on the main campus. The main campus looks lovely but I really don’t recommend the 2 bed cabins (not to mention they are the most expensive option too!)

In short the place and its surroundings are beautiful, it's a very serene setting. It will make a perfect place to relax. However for $500 a night my expectations were high and definitely not met. Our bed was way too stiff. Was hoping for the pool to be open since it's heated but it's closed in the spring/winter and doesn't open until May. I was also surprised that you're only able to buy food/drinks while the lodge restaurant is open for breakfast or dinner. It would have been nice to go up and grab a coffee mid day, but no option.

The resort looked great from their website, but it was even better in person. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, the whole place was nice and quiet, which is what we wanted for our vacation. The cabins are well-appointed with a lovely aesthetic, bed was super comfy. I appreciated that management sends text updates and reminders about pertinent info. We didn't get to participate in many of the offered activities this time, but are looking forward to doing so in the future. Only place for improvement would be to have more vegetarian choices on the Lodge menu.

The staff were welcoming from the beginning! We were there to celebrate a birthday and they had a card presented in the room when we walked in. The room was very cute and clean. I loved all the attention to detail. The grounds were stunning and we were lucky enough to stay on a night where live music was playing. We enjoyed the amenities all around the property - corn hole, restaurant, firepits, and close proximity to the river and downtown Guerneville. In the morning, they dropped off a little basket of pasties as well which we enjoyed with coffee on the little patio. Will definitely return!

A bit of kismet led us to Dawn Ranch Resort! We landed here after needing to cancel our Yosemite trip leg due to fires. We couldn't have found a better place for a few days of relaxation!! Our family of four stayed in the 2 BR Bungalow. The staff, decor, amenities and property (with onsite redwoods!) were all 5 star. I loved the kitchen garden and the provided linens and soaps! Due to a minor mechanical issue, we got to experience both the 'white' and 'black' bungalows after the super accommodating staff switched us to the other unit so they could resolve the issue. There is a bit of road noise in the bungalows, but it dies down at night w/the reduced traffic. We loved chatting with the other guest around the fire while enjoying wine and s'mores! Guerneville is a great base for exploring the valley and Sonoma county. Don't miss Armstrong Redwoods SNR, Boon + Eat, Brot, Nimble & Finns' ice cream at Guerneville Bank Club (they had a vegan flavor), Johnson's Beach, Charles M. Schulz Museum (Santa Rosa), Iron Horse Vineyards

Nice location and room. Had a Redwood cabin and relaxed under the canopy of the Redwood trees. The location is was ideal for me. It has a bar and restaurant onsite. the front desk was a great place to catch up on my book while having a cold beer. Walking distance to Safeway. I slept very well and got a tip on a local coffee shop. I did like that fact there were a lot of outlets. I could plug in my phone charger anywhere I wanted. They did a really great job with the space. No TV but I didn't need one. Great wi-fi. so glad I took my leave here. Couldn't bear to drive another 2+ hours. I did not look for a pool; I should have.

The cabins at this resort are cute and cozy, but the property sits very close to the highway and the cabins are very close to each other. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing place set in the woods and it just didn’t feel that way. Their restaurant also wasn’t open during the week as was the case with a lot of restaurants in town so there weren’t many places to eat.
