I have stayed here for a week at a time about every 8 weeks since the hotel opened. It took a while to get running smoothly but now is an excellent hotel. Service is very high overall. Food is excellent and overall healthier than the surrounding hotels. Close alternatives for food at the office building next door or some smaller cafes in neighborhood behind the hotel. The suites are live and a great bathroom. These are the only rooms that have a bathtub. The corner rooms are a bit smaller and I prefer a regular room instead of the upgrade to a corner room. One complaint is the air conditioning units can be a little loud so best to run them constantly for background noise. Pool is a bit odd as it does not have many lounge chairs if you want to just lounge and lay out in sun. Exec lounge has great service now with bartender always interested in making unique drinks.
I choose the hotel due to the closeness to the EXPO conference center. The short distance was convenient. The hotel staff were mostly very kind (the dining room a little bit less), that compensated the lack of English skills (of some of them). The hotel facility was very good, always very clean. It could be nice to have a small refrigerator in the room (especially in the warm weather of Mexico as well as due to the low / risky quality of water in Mexico). The room was spacious and comfortable.
MMarant DenebMaybe I had to do more research on my side, but the room I was assigned did not look at all like the picture. The staff was kind and helpful. On the other hand, the amenities were in bad shape and dirty. The room had no air ventilation and the wall were really thin. I could hear all the noises from the other rooms and the halls, because I was near the common toilets and showers. Probably this is a better choice for people who want to party all night and just sleep a few hours. I think the location is great, but next time I will spend a little bit more for a proper hotel room with a private bathroom.
