Leider war unser einwöchiger Aufenthalt in dieser Villa kein besonders schönes Erlebnis; wir haben eine Yoga Woche mit 16 Frauen dort verbracht und die Dame des Hauses hat zwar ordentlich Geld kassiert, aber uns dann ziemlich verhungern lassen. Wir hatten halb Pension, und es gab von sieben Abenden eigentlich nur zwei genug zu essen für alle und die Qualität des Dinners war 😏 Wir hatten vegetarisch bestellt, aber Es gab am dritten Tag Schweinebraten🙃 an einem anderen Tag tot gekochtes Gemüse mit einem Spiegelei. ... Wir hätten wohl in jedem Hostel besser gegessen! dazu kam, dass wir kein Klopapier hatten und der Wasserspender ständig leer war. Wer hier eine Reise plant, sollte sich also mit Klopapier und Wasser besser selber versorgen oh selber mitbringen, besten auch noch vorher putzen, insgesamt tut einem das Personal ein bisschen leid, die waren sehr freundlich aber leider war zu allem Elend auch noch alles sehr schmutzig. Auch wenn sie dabei ist, das Haus verkaufen zu wollen, er wartet man doch als Kunde wenigstens ein bisschen Respekt und vor allen Dingen Sauberkeit, oder?

Die Villa Rosa hat ihre guten Tage vorbei, abgewohnt, man hat den Eindruck, es wird nichts mehr investiert. Das Frühstück ist sehr karg, die Heizung funktioniert schlecht, die Zimmerhöhe ist sicher drei Meter und der winzige Heizstrahler ist in ca. 2m Höhe angebracht - warme Luft steigt auf und unten ists kalt geblieben. Die Heizkörper waren außer Funktion.Der Pool war mit unappetitlichem Schmutzrand - aber es war ohnedies zu kalt , um schwimmen zu gehen. Wir hatten einige Male Abendessen gebucht, war eher mittelmässig und wie alles in diesem Haus zu teuer.

Ho soggiornato una notte a Villa Le Rose, un posto veramente piacevole. La Villa è molto bella, volutamente arredata in modo classico e con un forte legame al passato. La mia camera era molto pulita, senza TV (finalmente!!), con un bel panorama sui colli del Chianti. Soffitti alti e tanta luce. Letto assolutamente comodo. Il bagno ha tutto, ottimi i prodotti per lavarsi, magari manca qualcosa per appendere gli asciugamani. Colazione dolce semplice ma assolutamente apprezzabile. La zona piscina è un ottimo spazio, l'acqua non era particolarmente invitante, ma credo sia stato un problemino di assenza cloro temporaneo. Bello la notte rientrare e vedere stelle a perdita d'occhio.

Posto tremendo. Pagati 160€ per una camera sporca e decrepita. Veramente un posto da evitare. Proprietari scortesi hanno affermato che le nostre lamentele erano finalizzate ad ottenere uno sconto. basta guardare le Foto su Google per rendersi conto di che posto si tratti. Una vergogna!

My husband and I love Villa Rosa and have returned there for many years. We stay in one of the rooms with the large terrace overlooking the valley -- what a view! The nearby little town of Panzano is great and has a couple of good restaurants. Many wineries are within easy driving distance and it is fun touring them and doing wine tastings. We were there about 3 years ago and they cooked and served dinner at the villa. Also they had a good selection of several wines. The dinner and wine were extra, but it was great because there are not so many restaurants in the area and the roads are dark and curvy if you have a couple glasses of wine. It was just so relaxing to have dinner outdoors under the loggia among the flowers, rosemary and olives. Maybe they will start serving dinner again -- probably suspended this service due to the pandemic. The breakfast is lovely. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The setting is just wonderful. If you go in the summer, there is a beautiful pool as well. I don't think you'll find a more enchanting location for your visit to Chianti Country.

A lovely villa in the heart of Tuscany The facilities were great, including access to the swimming pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were good. Parking on site. Villa is a 10 minute drive to two lovely Tuscan towns (Greve and Panzano). Would stay here again - it was so atmospheric!
