La experiencia en este hotel fue francamente decepcionante. La comida es mediocre en todos los aspectos: en el buffet se demoraron 15 minutos en traerme simplemente cubiertos y agua, y en el restaurante a la carta pasaron 45 minutos para servirme unos huevos fritos. El servicio es el más lento que he visto en toda mi vida, nada práctico ni eficiente. Además, las instalaciones presentan fallas graves. La luz del clóset tenía el sensor malo y nunca se apagaba; tuve que llamar a recepción y enviaron a alguien recién a las 11 de la noche, una hora después de mi solicitud. Peor aún, a la mañana siguiente, a las 8 am, me llamaron para preguntar por el mismo problema, arruinando el descanso en lo que se supone debía ser una vacación de playa relajante. Posteriormente, la luz del baño dejó de funcionar, convirtiéndose en otro inconveniente más. Para rematar, la cadena del inodoro también dejó de funcionar; a esa altura, opté por arreglarla yo misma, ya que lograr que el hotel enviara a alguien parecía misión imposible. La limpieza también deja mucho que desear: aunque salía de la habitación a las 8:30 de la mañana y dejaba el aviso para que la hicieran, volvía a las 2 de la tarde y seguía igual, sin atender. En una ocasión incluso regresé de un tour contratado con el mismo hotel y encontré la habitación tal cual la había dejado. Respecto al tour, si bien la actividad no fue mala, el hotel fue poco transparente: omitieron informar que, por la temporada, no se podría obtener la experiencia completa, algo que claramente sabían y ocultaron. En resumen, este hotel muestra una falta total de consideración hacia el huésped, tanto en servicio como en calidad. Recomiendo evitarlo si lo que se busca es descanso, buena atención y eficiencia.

Nous avons passer une semaine dans ce magnifique resort avec un service très chaleureux du début à la fin du voyage. Les restaurants sont très diversifiés et nous donne l’impression de manger à l’extérieur du resort. L’accès à la place est facile et fort confortable. Merci à toute l’équipe du Sandals Dunns River pour cette semaine mémorable.

Check-In: Our room wasn’t ready upon arrival at 2 p.m., and we waited 1.5 hours for access. The lobby host gave us a short tour and seated us for lunch, but the service at lunch was lacking. A spilled drink wasn’t cleaned up despite multiple requests, setting a disappointing tone for service throughout the trip. Highlight: The lobby staff were generally helpful and positive. Loyalty/Return Guests: As third-time guests, we weren’t notified about the loyalty dinner. We only found out because my husband asked a bartender. The oversight wasn’t rectified properly, and we had to take the initiative to check in without an official invite, missing the opening ceremony. At the dinner, we donated to the Sandals Foundation by purchasing a Christmas ornament, but it was not handed to us. When I inquired, the Loyalty rep became defensive before ultimately finding it at the front desk. This interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily difficult. Suggestion: Train staff to respond calmly and prioritize resolving guest concerns with empathy and professionalism. Bartending: Drinks were well-made, but service at the bar was slow and inconsistent. Bartenders often didn’t greet guests or acknowledge their presence promptly. One bartender ignored me for 10 minutes until my husband joined me. When ingredients or products were unavailable, staff offered no solutions. For example, missing bananas for a Dirty Banana or light beer resulted in simple “We don’t have it” responses. Suggestions: •Train staff to greet guests promptly, even when busy, with a simple acknowledgment like, “I’ll be right with you.” •Offer alternatives or solutions for unavailable items, such as arranging to get them from another bar. Beach and Restaurant Service: Beach service was infrequent, with long wait times for drinks. Restaurant service was slow, with delays in basic tasks like bringing water or taking orders. Staff often appeared distracted, requiring us to flag them down for attention. Highlight: The Asian-fusion restaurant, Banyu, offered excellent service. Sharifa and Tonishae were attentive and friendly servers, managers were accommodating and the chef personally greeted us. This level of service should be the standard across all restaurants. Suggestion: Improve staff training to prioritize attentive, proactive service at all dining locations. Spa Experience Spa services started 30 minutes late without any communication, throwing off our schedule for the day. This added stress to an otherwise relaxing . Suggestion: Communicate delays proactively and offer solutions to minimize disruptions to guests’ schedules. Maintenance We experienced issues with our shower and a window that wouldn’t close. Repeated calls to the front desk went unanswered, and my husband had to visit the lobby three times to resolve the problems. Beach and lobby bathrooms often lacked soap or cleanliness. Additionally, trash on the private beach area was left unattended, detracting from the resort’s ap

One of the worst places i have ever traveled to..The food was so bad i got food poisoning ..Dr on call knew nothing about food poisoning or extreme diarrhea and when you some kind of help they look at you clueless..i've been to 7 other Sandals this is by far the worst don't waste your time or money on this place ..and the beach is very small

It’s taken me this long to review my stay at Sandals Dunns-river as I felt like I needed a holiday after this holiday. Sandals Dunns fell short below my expectations. The food was mediocre. The worst yet was the Asian cuisine, with its soy sauce excessive rice, bland salmon and horrible tasting desserts. The **** chicken wasn’t jerking at all at the beach restaurant. Breakfast choices were ok but more island choices would’ve been better. One night, we got back to our room with no towels, as the house keeping forgot to refresh towels. We also had to wait 40 minutes for the towels to arrive, and missed half of a wedding event because we couldn’t shower or get ready. The pastries at the coffee bar always seem to be stale. The service at the beach bar apparently, it seems that one has to be Caucasian to be served before anyone else even if you’ve. Placed your order. Sandals was missing the S at the end it stands alone with the S trying to catch up…I will never return.

Vraiment Très propre comme hôtel, le service est bien pas très bien mais bien le problème majeure c’est la nourriture elle est bien sans plus même moyen a certain restaurant c’est vraiment un manque pour le prix payer . Manque bar a crème glacer et manque de choix au buffets et restaurants à la carte ordinaire
