Regenerate Wellness Center at Villas Escondidas

My son and I traveled to Costa Rica to check on the construction of our home. We were a last minute reservation but the owners were wonderful and accommodated us. This is not your typical B&B. The owners are very present and visible. They are exciting and vibrant women, take a moment to sit and talk with them. They are an invaluable resource. Check-In - The process was fast and efficient. Wifi password was given and we were escorted to our room. Room - The B&B offers several types of rooms, we were given a 5 person room, as it was the only one available. It was large, clean and tastefully decorated. There is a large flat screen television with cable. The bathroom was a good size with a large shower which offered good pressure and hot water. Grounds - The grounds are beautiful. There is flora and fauna everywhere. Watch out for the iguanas. I saw some while sitting in a rocking chair reading. There are beautiful flowers and mature trees throughout the property. Take a stroll and just allow yourself to relax as you walk. There is a brook that runs through the property and you can hear the water everywhere. The brook has a waterfall which you can even walk under. The facility has spa treatments which you can book. There is also a beautiful pool which my son and I thoroughly enjoyed. Proximity - The B&B is located just outside of Grecia. It's location was perfect for me as my property is literally down the street. Grecia is about 5-7 minutes away and has a plethora of restaurants to tease your palate and to fill your belly. Grecia is also a great home base for exploring waterfalls, hiking, zip lining and other activities in the area. You can also have day trips to La Fortuna, the Pacific Coast and Monteverde. Overall - This B&B is not a fancy resort offering a ton of amenities. It is a place that is secure and calming. You can recharge your "battery" here and spend time reconnecting with yourself and the world around you. I enjoyed our stay here and my teenage son also agreed that the B&B was a good choice.

Close to the city and a great spot to start or end your trip to CR. At only 20-25 minutes, there is easy access to the airport. Breakfast is available for a fair price and was very tasty. This boutique style inn is small and comfortable. The grounds are very well kept and a pleasure to stroll around. The adjacent river includes a small waterfall and shallow pools to relax by or in. If you prefer, you can alternately cool off in the swimming pool by reception. On a personal note, we had some scheduling issues with our return and they stepped up to help us though it. It meant a great deal to us and are very grateful for their help and hospitality. Outstanding.

Tuve una terrible experiencia con el personal de este lugar! Yo tengo un mini pig, es del tamaño del un perro mediano, esta entrenado y siempre lo llevo a todo lado conmigo. Antes de reservar en cualquier hotel yo llamo e indico el tipo de animal que es para saber si pueden aceptarlo, y en este caso no fue la excepción. Llame 2 días antes y me indicaron que no habría problema mientras recogiera las heces y estuviera amarrado, al llegar al lugar volví a hacer la consulta y me reiteraron que no había problema, y me cobraron un adicional. Al día siguiente estaba a las 9 de la mañana en el área de la piscina, cuando llega la dueña y de una manera muy grosera básicamente nos hecha del lugar, le indicamos en varias ocasiones que la persona en recepción nos había dejado reservar sabiendo el tipo de animal y hasta nos había cobrado por él, pero igual nos dijo que debíamos irnos, nos acuso de mentir y por supuesto no nos devolvió el dinero.
