芒果谷飯店

Javier was a great host. Breakfast always started with a fresh fruit plate coffee and fresh orange juice. We had a peaceful view looking over the valley Room 6. Even saw a yellow throated toucan, parrots amongst many other types of birds and sounds they create. Rooms, grounds are very well kept. Though remote there are places that will deliver and a cute little restaurant open Friday/Saturday only just up the street. Costa Rica is beautiful and the people are even more. Beautiful country to visit

Very pleasant stay in a peaceful environment. Great view on the valley. Small but nice swimming pool in a beautiful garden. Friendly host. You'll need a car (or taxi) to go to the village where are enough restaurants and shops. Our favourite: Mirador Brisas del Monte. Good food, spectacular view!

We spent two weeks in Costa Rica and this place was the best value, cleanest, beautiful view, lots of birds and great breakfast. I can not say enough good about this place. I wish we could have stayed longer. We were able to watch Montezuma birds build a nest in the coconut tree and watch hummingbirds along the hedge. There were quite a bit of grounds landscaped to walk around and enjoy. The wifi worked better here than anywhere else we stayed. Coffeepot, coffee, refrigerator, one burner stove and small "kitchen" sink. Owners friendly and helpful!

We spent our first 3 nights in Costa Rica at Mango Valley Hotel and it was a great start to our trip. We didn't have a car so the hotel arranged a taxi from the airport for us. There is an hourly bus into Grecia that stops outside the hotel, and a restaurant 10 minutes walk up the road. The cabin we had was clean and comfortable, and the view was lovely. Breakfast was fresh and yummy. The pool was clean and the garden beautiful. Lots of birds.

We stayed just a couple of nights in this lovely spot. Amazing views over the Central Valley, and a fabulous fresh breakfast every morning (thanks Javier!). We had a cabin with a balcony overlooking the pool which was stunning as the sun comes up, these are definitely the ones to have! The cabins are simple but comfortable with nice big bathrooms, we would have loved to stay longer!

We had a great stay at Mango Valley. Mornings were amazing with the views of the coffee plantation, sunrise and bird calls. The cottage was basic but spacious and comfortable. The included breakfast included fresh fruit grown on the property and Costa Rican breakfast. The swimming pool was beautiful. Very friendly staff. Don't leave food out on the counter over night or else you might find the ants got to it!
