Had to cancel due to an emergency a week before my trip. When I called they said I was locked in and would not refund my money or offer another date. They basically stole over $500 of my money for a three night stay I was unable to use. They had no compassion and could not care less that I had to cancel. I even asked could it be moved to another date and used that way and they not even do this. I have never had problems with best western in the past but this was the exception, I will be telling everyone that travels to BC not to use this hotel. Very disappointed, and as a senior cannot afford to be out over $500 because of a unpredicted emergency. Management was completely uncaring, BW customer service advised talking to hotel as they had the powerto cancel and refund or rebook. Just greed and money mattered to them.
