某處旅館Calabogie

Un vrai coup de cœur ! Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet hôtel plein de charme. La chambre était très jolie, décorée avec soin, et parfaitement équipée avec à la fois une douche et une baignoire. Un bar à vin sur place est une excellente surprise, idéal pour terminer la journée en beauté. Le personnel est souriant, accueillant et toujours disponible, ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus agréable. Le complexe propose également de nombreuses activités : jeux de plein air, transats pour se relaxer, feux pour griller des chamallows (un vrai plaisir pour petits et grands !), ainsi qu’un bain d’eau glacée et un hammam en option pour les amateurs de bien-être. L’hôtel est idéalement situé, à seulement quelques pas d’une belle plage publique de sable, et plusieurs restaurants sympas se trouvent à proximité. Avec une dizaine de chambres seulement et un parking sur place. Bref, un lieu où l’on se sent bien dès l’arrivée… et qu’on quitte à regret. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Très belle endroit calme. Grande chambre. Lit très confortable. Air climatisé. Robe de chambre confortable. J’aime bien le fait de communiquer par texte avec eux ça facilite beaucoup. On s’enregistre avant d’arriver (via leur texte une fois réservé) ils donnent le no de la chambre ainsi qu’un code pour entrer c’est super. Il n’y a pas de restaurant à l’hôtel et le déjeuner à 20$ consiste à un muffin un fruit un smoothie et un gruau ce qui me contentait. La jeune fille nous a même texté pour demander si elle nous partait un feu, il y a un gros pit à feu, des chaises et des hamacs. La seule raison pourquoi j’ai donné 4 et non 5 c’est qu’il n’y avait pas de télé (même si on s’est bien accommodé de ça..) mais nous ne sommes pas des habitués à pas de télé pour le soir.

Something about the Somewhere Inn Calabogie says 'home away from home' to me. The rooms are simple, but well appointed. The 'lobby' has a great selection of drinks, snacks, and the type of souvenirs you'll actually use. The people are extremely friendly and helpful. It's the type of place where you book your next stay while you're still there.

This was disappointing for what it is. I loved the idea of a fireplace in the room, but shortly after I checked in, I received a text advising that the remote for it may or may not work. I don't know, but good hospitality would've been to offer a complimentary bottle of wine or charcuterie board, in case I couldn't figure out how to get the remote working. The room is nicely decorated and mostly clean. The shower tiles could use a good scrubbing tho. My sheets had holes. The fan on the heater was so loud, I had to turn it off at night to sleep. There's no TV in the room, which is fine, because the walls are paper thin and you can hear every word from your neighbor. Apart from one of the chairs and the bed, there's no comfortable seating. And, the constant texting from the lobby was super annoying. What I did like was the decor, especially the alpaca wall hanging, the tub, the fireplace and the wine bar in the lobby. But, to be honest, for the same price you can rent an airbnb, which is more private (and quieter), with a full kitchen, couch to sit on and a TV. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this motel.

Beautiful area with a strong focus on relaxation. There are not many stores, restaurants or things to do nearby so you are out of luck if it rains. Instagram/website photos were misleading on the beach, they made it appear to be on site when it is actually a small public beach down the street. Lounge was cute but had no wifi or ability to watch anything during rainy days or evenings. On site movie night was cancelled due to rain and could have been held in the lounge instead. Housekeeping and rooms were very clean. Smores were not included for fires as advertised and the attendant left early so we could not ask about the smores. We had a wedding party staying next to us that were loud late and night and early in the morning. Unfortunately, they do not have a staff person even on call overnight to deal with any issues. Seems unsafe and a little cheap to not have someone doing an overnight shift especially with the costs of the room per night. Overall, a nice place for relaxing in the hammocks all day. If you're looking for more to do there is a nearby resort of similar cost that has kayaks, paddleboats, and is directly on the water.

My husband and I decided to stay here as a last minute decision- we were going to go camping but due to the weather decided it wasn’t ideal. This place was very charming! The set up with hammocks and fire pits were inviting. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. I admit I assumed the sauna/cold plunge area was going to be larger but I enjoyed the intimate set up. There were no TVs in the rooms which were a shock- but plenty of board games in the rooms which forced us to connect organically! Lol. The soaker tub was amazing too. I had a very pleasant stay here and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a nice couples retreat or for a solo retreat.
