our room plus Ensuite was clean and quite adequate for our stay with parking and close to the beach. We found the owners very friendly and the breakfast will set you up for the day. i would recommend this b.n.b

Used this place a long time ago before COVID remembered it being clean all the rooms en suite so had a few days near Christmas £36 with a full English breakfast fantastic value Linda nipping in the room emptying the bin making the bed Larry always dressed smart and presentable I don't know what happened to all the other hotels they are on the decline tired and dated they want way to much money for one night.

Very dated and in need of major works. The room was nice but very dated. Could do with some paint and updated. The bed was terrible. Did not get a good night's sleep in the 2 nights I stayed. Breakfast is served between 8-9 in the morning. But you have to let them know what you want the night before. The location was nice and quiet and 5 mins away from Regent road. If they spent some money on updating the place I would go back. But as it is I would go elsewhere

I was met with happy smiles and helped up the impressive ornate staircase to my room. My room was fresh clean and spacious, even with the chair and small fridge, they were excellent finishing touches. I slept really well on comfy bed, and had great hot showers. The breakfast routine works very well with everything cooked to each individuals likes, brilliant. It's a little way to walk into town but simple to navigate and is all flat. I could only stay 3days but wish it had been longer. Thank you Larry and Linda. I will definitely be returning.

The hotel feels like coming home to your grandparents which is really really good. The room smell fresh and clean as well. The owners are really nice and very accommodating. Really enjoyed staying here. The fridge in the room is big BONUS! From K. Family

I’m so glad I only had to stay two nights in this hotel. As soon as I lay down on the bed I realised I was allergic to the fabric detergent I told Linda, who runs the establishment with her Husband Larry, but she didn’t even offer to change the sheets and I am now covered from head to toe in allergies spots which are very itchy. I’m very painful. Also, I realised, unfortunately after my stay, that I had been put in a single room but I had paid for a double room. I raised this with the hotel and they wrote back to me lying saying that I have booked a single room. I wonder what part of “ Standard double room“ means single bed to them at this hotel. I wonder where a second person is supposed to sleep in a single bed if I had had a second person with me. Also appreciate I didn’t raise this at the time because I didn’t realise until afterwards I don’t like them implying that I am a liar which is effectively what they’ve done by saying that I booked a standard single room which is not what it says on my booking confirmation. I am not a liar. They are not particularly friendly hosts. Yes, they can be helpful, but there’s no smile on their faces. There’s no happiness in the place and everything seems to be too much trouble for them. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I should have realised the sort of standard they were going to be when they were not as expensive as the other hotels in the vicinity. Thankfully I was only there for two nights but what a complete waste of money. Oh yes I almost forgot. They allow their various dogs to run around the breakfast room begging the people staying there for food. Disgusting and unhygienic. Also there was mold in the shower. The photo shows the allergic reaction on my arms.
