Booked a one night stay at this pretty country Inn for my husband’s birthday. We stayed in room 11 which is separate to the main Inn in the cottage next door. Beautifully decorated and spacious room with high end fixtures and fittings and luxury bed linens. Quality touches such as lovely toiletries and even home made cookies . The food was exceptional. Do remember to book a table as it seems very popular and you wouldn’t want to miss out! We stayed on a Sunday evening and both had the roast beef dinner. My husband had the scallop starter which he said were the best scallops he has had for some time. I had the smoked pork cheeks. Very tasty indeed. Desserts were divine. Breakfast was excellent. Huge full Yorkshire breakfast that filled us up for most of the day . All the staff were really friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help. There was a slight problem with our bill at check out but Nathan dealt with this quickly and efficiently . We would highly recommend and look forward to coming back

We wanted a few days away in the Yorkshire Dales area as it was somewhere we didn't know too much about. The scenery is stunning and the small market towns are full of interesting shops to visit. The Timble Inn was perfectly situated to visit many places of interest. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the room was lovely and the food was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were knowledgeable about the area. We couldn't fault the service we received and would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Had lovely food in the past but today the Steak and Ale pie was full of grisly meat. Not nice at all, especially at the cost of £19.50. Pointed it out to one of the staff who took it away and offered to replace it but I didn't really fancy anything else after the grisly meat. When the bill came, the cost of the pie had been taken off - well I hadn't really eaten any - and there was a free coffee. Given the fact I hadn't been able to eat the pie and our lunch out had lost it's sheen, a free coffee for my husband was not much of a sorry. After some haggling, which was unacceptable given the circumstances , I had some of the cost of the wine taken off the bill. Not a good experience and such a shame . Evie and Sarah were great but seemed to have their hands tied when it came to giving some recognition for a spoiled lunch. Altogether very disappointing. Recommdation is don't have the Steak and Ale pie.

had the pleasure of staying at Timble Inn, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and the charming atmosphere of the hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail seemed thoughtfully designed to create a relaxing and luxurious stay. The bed was plush, and I had one of the best nights of sleep in a long time. The service was exceptional—staff members were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The on-site restaurant was another highlight, serving delicious meals made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The location was peaceful and picturesque, making it the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway. Whether you’re looking for a quiet escape or a romantic stay, Timble Inn is a fantastic choice. I will definitely be returning!

What a lovely place to stay. I liked the room and the location. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming. I will be coming back here next year for my conference and invite others to share in the environment. I’m sure you would enjoy the experience too.

This a wounderful location in a good place in the countryside. It has very great catering service with good choice of food and friendly welcoming staff. Very clean and excellent rooms and variety of rooms. This is a romantic break away from the hussle of life.
