Enjoy everything the Berkshires has to offer from the shops and restaurants in Great Barrington, music and cultural events of Tanglewood to the north and great skiing at Butternut ski resort which is within walking distance of the house.Known locally as the Turning Point Inn, the main part of the house was built in 1850 and has a long history as a stage coach inn, local tavern and more recently a bed and breakfast. The layout is perfect for family gatherings when you want to be able to stay together but have your own private rooms to retreat to at night. It is conveniently located near many hiking trails (notably the Appalachian trail crosses nearby), waterfalls, swimming holes, parks, music festivals in the summer, and of course Butternut Ski resort just down the main road.
