The room was dirty. Some towels were dirty and it was obvious that they didn’t wipe the desk area. The beds were uncomfortable and very noisy/squeaky. We stayed on the first floor and the guests from upstairs and in the halls were very loud. When trying to call the front desk, the phone in the room didn’t work. The coffee was water and the machine didn’t work one morning.

We stayed here for our sons wedding. We stayed 3 nights. 2 booked through Best Western and 1 night through **********. They floors & shower were dirty. We got no sleep. False advertisement for sound proof rooms. EV charger did not work. An employee decided to party in the room next to us all night long and then he proceeded to play loud preaching all day long. We complained and knocked on his door to ask him to turn it down. He was rude. The next night he (or someone else) left a TV on in the same room blaring. No one was in the room. Ivy was very helpful, but the owners are not. Don’t stay here. We paid full price for 2 sleepless nights. We had to leave our sons reception early because we were exhausted. Owners did nothing to compensate our stay. Breakfast was gone before I got any. Not worth the stay!

I walked into the room and was hit with an overwhelming odor, the countertops had not been cleaned, and the bed appeared as if someone had recently been laying on top of it. This, I asked to switch to a different room. However, my new room had ants in the bathroom and the main entryway and the security latch had been busted off.

I strongly recommended this hotel, it is my first time here, i will definitely going back here, is clean, safe, family friendly, my wife and my daughter were so happy, front desk so helpful !!

The property was good and updated although it could be cleaner. The shower door kept sliding off so I couldn’t take a nice shower. Stuff was nice!

The room was both spacious and clean, meeting our expectations. The bed, with its firmness, suited our preferences, especially considering my husband's back issues. The linens were fresh, and the pillows struck a good balance, not being overly soft. The bathroom maintained a high standard of cleanliness, and the shower amenities, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers, were adequately stocked with a commendable brand. However, our only challenge arose on our last night when it was difficult to sleep due to the noise from the room above, where children were running around throughout the night and early morning starting around 6:00 am. Despite the disturbance, we opted not to complain, understanding the challenges of managing children. Nevertheless, I hope that in the future, the management might consider assigning families with small children to ground-floor rooms to minimize such disruptions.

Perfect location on the way to Tahoe. Parking is free and easy. Check-in is very fast. Rooms are large and comfy. Gas stations are nearby before continuing our journey. Only minor drawback is that the types of restaurants are Colfax are a bit limited.

Great location. Great value. Perfect hideout for waiting out an overnight blizzard on the way to skiing!
