"WOW - As I'm a pretty disorganised traveler, I came upon this place because I LOVED the name. The outside appearance does not do justice in any way to what you find when you get inside. Super friendly service Super comfortable bed Super powerful shower All the extras that you may need to make a cuppa / cool down your cans / heat up something if you choose to not dine in the great restaurants. SPECIAL mention should go to the wonderful lady running the place - Her smile was infectious and her eagerness to ensure she provided a good stay was clear to see. Would I recommend it? Damn right I would - except if I thought I'd not get in for a repeat stay!"

"The photo on the internet was not what we got. We were under the impression that we got the room in the photo at a good price. That particular room we got was something like a storage room that had been converted to accommodate more guests. If I had known this I would have wanted a different room and I would have been willing to pay more. The impression I got was that the place was fully booked and we were then given a very cheap room. We should have been told this in advance. My other problem is the water pipe of the shower was somewhat clogged so the water drains very slowly you stand in water while you shower. There is no wardrobe or anything to put clothes in or put your luggage on, the space is very limited. There are too many electrical cables and plugs plugged in together they hang loose and it doesn't look very safe. Although the room was clean I would have preferred something else."

"Mosswood is a fantastic place to stay. Wonderfully peaceful, yet still close to the city centre. Private parking and a delicious fresh breakfast. Definitely highly recommended, whether you are travelling alone or with your family."
