杜娜蘭賓館

Im Rahmen unserer Schottland Rundreise waren wir zwei Nächte im Dunallan Haus untergebracht. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und zwei Einzelbetten. Das Zimmer war extrem sauber, wenngleich etwas klein für uns vier. Wir wurden extrem freundlich aufgenommen, Steven (der Wirt) hat uns eine Vielzahl an Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben und war auch ansonsten ausgesprochen freundlich und unterhaltsam. Seine Frau kümmert sich um alles rundum. Das Frühstück war hervorragend.

My husband & I stayed 2 nights at Ginny & Stephen's wonderful bed and breakfast. We had Room 4 and it was spacious. The breakfast was delicious. They provide a sheet to mark your preferences. Between Ginny's cooking and Stephen's breakfast banter, we loved every minute of it. We would not hesitate to stay again should we ever be back in the area. And, they are steps from a fabulous bar, The Craig Bar. The bar serves yummy dinner pies and Robbie, the owner, is quite the character.

Steve and Ginny are super sweet hosts that make you feel right at home. The B&B is an old Victorian that is very cute. It’s not modern at all which makes it all the more charming. If you are looking for a trendy, new place, this won’t be for you. If you are looking for gracious hosts who help you learn more about the area, share stories with and genuinely love their occupation, then this is the place for you! Breakfast was delicious. I recommend eating the pies at The Craig Bar (and the lively banter that you need a tough skin for). We also ate at the Garth Hotel which was a nice restaurant with just ok food.

Dunallan house is a well run B&B. The house is clean, and nicely appointed. The bedroom was a decent size, and the bathroom was recently updated. The area is a quiet neighborhood street near wooded walking trails and a few minute walk to the shops.

The host provided suggestions on places to visit and a detailed history to understand and enjoy these areas. All of this while enjoying a splendid breakfast in a beautiful quiet home. He exceeded our expectations.

We had a lovely welcome from Steve who even carried one of our cases up the stairs. The rooms were clean and quirky in their decor and very homely. Breakfast was lovely - with a really good choice of options.
