More than amazing , A really nice place with a good location, the service was excellent too especially the kind man “callum “ he was always ready on call “ i think he’s got a blink ability or smth :)) thank you very much for the hospitality and hope to see you again soon. For quick and simple stop over it was good, would recommend the double rooms for single was a little too plain and small. 1 Shared bathroom for 3 rooms.All rooms were upstairs. Shared lounge with fire place,very cosy with some books to read and board games. Host was pleasant and Amenities were adequate.

Well, firstly, the people that are given this more than one star I clearly either friends and family or being paid!! There is no parking whatsoever. This is a manky old terraced house on a long Street with no parking whatsoever, and the place is absolutely disgustingly filthy, see pictures. There is a layer of grime dirt and dust all over everything accompanying that is the smell of dirty animals and house. Cats didn’t venture into any of the communal areas as the smell put me off all outside‘s place has been completely neglected. and there are weeds growing out of all the gutters the room itself in addition to being disgusting dirty. Also had a Hidden Boiler in the corner, which I didn’t find safe at all in a bedroom. The area itself didn’t feel safe at all I work away from home during the week and stopping hotels and B&Bs 46 weeks of the year and can say this is. Possibly the one of the worst I’ve ever stayed in. I will never return. I suggest you avoid this place at all costs.

When you've waited at the airport for 3 hours, sat through a 9.5 hour flight, walked 2 miles to the train station, rode the train for almost 3 hours and then walked another 20 minutes to your B&B dragging your suitcase behind you, you really really need a place you can rest, recuperate, and get a good night's sleep. This is not that place. Ty Rosa looks like a lovely place to stay, and it apparently was at one time. Their online presence paints a picture of an attractive, comfortable place to stay with friendly and attentive hosts. What we found was a cramped space badly in need of repairs, a bed that was so hard it hurt to sleep on, noisy surroundings due to people coming and going and climbing the stairs, and a host that couldn't be bothered to see us at all - we only met him by chance when we were leaving. When we arrived, he had taped an envelope to the door with the key to our room. There is no breakfast. He just recommends you walk to a nearby restaurant. Our room was so small that if one person was standing by the bed and the other wanted to get to the toilet, the first person would need to walk away and stand by the door so the other person could walk past the bed and access the toilet. I might add, the neighborhood is not so great. Many of the houses have junk and garbage cluttering up their front gardens. It's about a 40 minute walk to the city center, so you're not paying for location. We were going to stay for two more nights, but we cancelled that and stayed at the Travelodge instead. For the same price, we were right there at the train station, close to the restaurants downtown, and had a comfortable bed. If only we'd done that to start with.

We stayed for two nights as two young female friends. To say that we felt unsafe would be an understatement, as the area was far outside the city centre and did not feel safe at all. Further, the place itself exclusively accommodated single old men, who frequently stared at us and did not talk to us. This may or may not have been the fault of the management itself, but it seemed bizarre that this was the only clientele of the place. On top of this, our door was very difficult to lock, which was challenging because we wanted to lock it at night as we felt unsafe from the men, and the management did nothing to help us with this. Unfortunately, since we shared the location with so many single men, and because management was seldom around, the common spaces were in terrible condition and our bedroom itself was not clean at all. There was a lot of dust under the bed, for instance. Lastly, we did not see the management at all, and there was nobody around to ask for help when we had questions or concerns. I will not be recommending this B&B.

A wonderful B&B located between the city centre and the bay. We spent our visit walking to and back to the centre but there is ample parking and busses available. The room was modern, clean and had everything you would need/expect of a hotel room. We could not fault it. To top if off The host was friendly and helpful but not overbearing. We will definitely return when we are next in Cardiff.
