I was told the room had two queen beds and a pull out couch in the other living area. There were aunts all over the floor by the door to the pool. I saw a mouse running around in the basement by the elevators and went under the door to the equipment room. We stayed in room 517/T17.

Was less than thrilled with the room. It didn’t appear the bathroom was cleaned before we got our room keys and we found that out the next morning when I hopped in the shower and saw long black hair in the shower on the shower curtain, shower wall and bathroom sink. A layer of dust was visible on the shelves where they placed the folded towels. Our room was on the first floor, and you could hear everyone’s doors on the second floor and all around closing. It sounded like constant loud slamming doors. I think it’s that their doors don’t close easily so people have to put force into them. The heating and cooling unit in the room made a constant clicking noise which was disruptive to sleep. Also, the pool was closed for maintenance, but there was/is nothing on their website that says the indoor pool was closed for maintenance and that was a large reason we booked a room here. I got a couple texts from the front desk, checking in on our stay and I messaged them about the issues we experienced while we were there and even sent photos of the nasty hair around the bathroom and nobody responded. Completely unacknowledged us. I would not return to this hotel and I’m disappointed I wasted my money on a less than enjoyable stay

I didn't actually stay as planned. I contacted Orbitz two days beforehand and asked to ADD AN EXTRA DAY to my reservation and was informed that I could not due to it being a non-refundable booking. I told the agent I understood not being able to cancel, but not being able to add to my length of stay made no sense. He offered to contact the hotel on my behalf and I waited half an hour(!) before he came back and said Hampton was not willing to let me add a day. He asked if I wanted to cancel the reservation and I told him if I had to pay a penalty, I would just keep it and contact the hotel myself. Then he said there would be no penalty because the hotel had approved a complete refund. By this time I was rather peeved about the whole situation so I told him as long as it wasn't going to cost me, he could cancel it. And even after he said it was canceled, I continued to receive text and email reminders. (And requests like this one to review my stay. It still remains to be seen if I will get my refund or not.) The real kicker is that I went back later and it showed the same room and dates I wanted as available for a slightly lower price!

The girl working at the front desk the day I checked in with made me feel like a family Member and a great friend. She was amazing and deserves an award!!!!
