Just returned from this property! We stayed from the 26th Jan, and lasted two nights of a one week booking. Unless you like cockroaches, prepared to accept staying in a property which is tired and run down, and poorly maintained, avoid at all costs. We booked for a week, and had to leave after the second night as previously mentioned. The pictures are out of date, and probably taken using a magic wand! Because it doesn’t look like that now. Four cockroaches, cooker only had one ring working, toilet seat broken, very flimsy. Couldn’t open the shower door because it was catching on the floor, bed was extremely uncomfortable, quilt not big enough for the bed, so constantly fighting for cover. Only 3 coat hangers to start with, also the window in the bathroom was broken, so you couldn’t close it to stop insects coming in. The air conditioning leaked water onto the floor, the lounge furniture had rips in it, basically need I say more!! I contacted my agent to request a refund once arrived home, but basically the hotel denied there was any problem, and actually blamed me for the toilet seat!! With reference to the 4 cockroaches, they replied by saying they offered me bug spray, which they did. That was just in 48hrs. We was on a ground floor apartment, they offered a replacement, but accepted that we’d had enough, and needed to move on. The only positive thing I can say about this property is the staff, with the exception of the day manager who just sat around all day on his phone. Especially the guy who booked us in on the day we arrived, only to find out he was the maintenance guy on a following day, he was very helpful. When we left, the manager was really only concerned about what review we would leave. Fortunately we have stayed in Mauritius a number of times, and was able to find new accommodation pretty quickly. We booked through Agoda, no help or support at all. You decide if you want to take a chance!

Well situated in Grand Baie, close to la Cuvette public beach and to convince store (next door). Bus stop just outside and Pereberre is 2 minutes ride. We stayed here several times, in 2013, 2017 and 2022. Staff friendly. However during our last visit we noticed the place needs a serious refurbishment both inside the rooms and outside in the garden. Until then we will stay elsewhere.

Please check out other reviews to see we always leave a honest opinion We had looked at these first but then decided to book 6 nights in a different apartment. After staying the first night in other place which wasn’t suitable we took the decision to leave there and book these instead. Best decision we made. Had early check in and upon arrival around 10-30 our room was ready on the ground floor. WOW !!! Beautifully minimalistic and spotless and well laid out: full kitchen including large fridge freezer and full cooker. Island with bar stools, living room, large bedroom and bathroom. Bedroom led out to patio with chairs and a table. Bed was huge !!! Only issue we had was with safe but this was resolved. Staff were lovely and friendly. There is also washing facilities there around the back. It’s right next door to a good supermarket, with bus stops on opposite sides of road also for ease. two beach’s within a 5-6 min walk and a lovely pub called the tavern approx 30 seconds away. The centre of grand baie is approx 5-10 min walk and very easy to do. Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again

my first visit was in November 2019 when i stayed for 2 weeks while fishing and the standard of the accommodation was perfect and extremely clean . fantastic location with the centre of Grand Baie only a 15 minute walk to shops and restaurants and the Bay itself. Upon arrival i was again greeted by the friendly Management & Staff who will do anything to make your stay the best it can be, now organising trips and even down to supplying a BBQ to use if required in the evenings. Again the apartment had everything i needed to cook and with the supermarket store 2000 next door you can soon stock the fridge and freezer. i wish to thank Ram & all his staff for another great stay and planning to be back again in November but may not be able to wait that long, will be in touch very soon and hopefully be able to catch and bring back some fish for the staff.

Very good experience. Rooms clean with air con. Free WiFi. Nice swimming pool. Mr ram very nice person, always helpful. Hospitality very good. Cool atmosphere. Quality time with whole family. Everybody enjoyed a lot.
