Pendene Villa is a big private property with private pool and air-conditioning. The pool is fenced for children's security.
We keep our villa well maintained and pristine. If you have contact in Mauritius we recommend that you have the villa checked out before reserving. Even though the villa sleeps 11 people it can accommodate up to 14 with a bit of flexibility and creativity. So, if your group exceeds 11 just ask and we can discuss sleeping arrangements. PENDENE is a spacious detached villa only 10/15 minutes walking distance from the best bathing beach in Pereybere and a similar distance from Grand Baie - Mauritians shopping and nightlife 'capital'. A 10 minute drive is Mont Choisy - one of the largest sandy beaches on the island. Supermarket and local produce shopping is less than 10 minutes away. The colonial style villa has balconies front and back and views for miles.
The villa has a large private pool and big patio area with barbecue and tropical gardens front and back. It is discreetly managed by husband and wife team Garcon & Baby, who will be there to greet you on arrival, show you where everything is and help you get settled in with the minimum of fuss. Discounted car and airport transfer can be arranged for you and a daily maid service is available for a little extra..
All bedrooms have air-conditioning and electric fans in the lounge, indoor games and a library + TV - DVD - Play Station.
Other facilities: Exceptionally equipped kitchen with dishwasher - microwave oven - 5 ringed stove and a plethora of cooking utensils and crockery and cutlery.
Utility room for your laundry with iron and ironing board. Cool boxes to take picnics to the beach.
Security: - caretaker/manager on site in a cottage by the gate.

très bonnes vacances
Vacances en famille de 10 personnes de 18 à 75 ans, nous avons reçu un accueil TRES TRES bien dans une très belle villa qui était conforme à l'annonce.Nous sommes enchantés de ce séjour et le recommandons pour famille ou groupe d'amis.

Superbe semaine dans belle villa à Pereybere
Très grande villaTrès belle piscineClimatisation dans les chambres (très utile)Le couple qui s'occupe de la maison sur place sont très gentils et donnent de précieux conseils Formalités d'arrivée et de départ très simplesA 15 minutes à pied de la plage...mais pas de chemin "pratique". Soit route avec voiture, soit chemin de terre à travers construction déchets.Chambres spacieusesNécessaire de cuisine présentCuisine très bien équipéeA noter intérieur un peu "vieillot" mais très pratiqueSalles de bain un peu anciennes mais fonctionnellesSuper U à 10-15 minutes à pied pour les coursesExotic dreams (contact donné par la propriétaire) très compétente pour organiser les excursions et les transferts (aéroport...).Communication très simple et rapide avec la propriétaireBref, on a passé une super semaine et nous recommandons cette villa sans souci dès lors que vous ne cherchez pas du luxe, récent.Pour le reste, plage de Pereybere, Bain boeuf, Mont Choisy sont proches et sont superbes.Et les Mauriciens sont tellement gentils.Superbes vacances.

Très beau séjour
Très belle maison , grande et spacieuse. Manque juste 2-3 équipement mais globalement très bien ! Le jour se lève très tôt à Maurice et des rideaux obscurcissants seraient bien sinon rien d autre à dire .

Super séjour
Je recommande cette location
Contact avant départ merveilleux avec Wendy la propriétaire une aide très précieuse proposant toutes les possibilités (location de voitures, transfert aéroport)pour aborder notre arrivée dans les meilleures conditions.
A notre arrivée accueil par Nitish et Pooja couple de gardien d'une extraordinaire gentillesse.
Nous gardons d'eux un super souvenir qui fait entièrement parti de notre voyage, merci à eux

Vacances
Nous avons passés de très belles vacances dans la villa qui était très bien équipée. Toutes les chambres ont la climatisation et la cuisine était en très bon état. La seule suggestion pour améliorer notre expérience serait qu'il y ait la clim dans le séjour également car la chaleur a Grand baie en été est étouffante. L'extérieur et la piscine sont très bien entretenus. Neetish, le gardien, était disponible a chaque fois que nous avions eu besoin de son aide.
Pour résumer, nous avons été comblé par la villa et nous le recommandons à 100%

Sehr viel Platz - Renovierungsbedarf
Von aussen sieht das Haus schmuck aus, von innen ist es renovierungsbedürftig. Insbesondere die Küche: Geschirrspüler rostig - mochten wir nicht benutzen, Wasserhahn lose, eine Herdplatte defekt, Ofen nicht sauber.
Die Bäder sind gerade noch ok, aber alles alt und nicht sehr einladend.
Die separaten Gittertüren an sämtlichen Türen haben wir nicht verstanden - Kriminalität?
Steckdosen veraltet bzw englisches System, generell Elektroinstallation veraltet. Viele einfache Lichtschalter ohne Wechselschaltfunktion - bei großen Räumen eher lästig.
Mobiliar im Aussenbereich: 5 Plastikstühle, 2 Klapptische und veraltete Plastik-Poolliegen, in denen sich die Katzen wohl gefühlt und ihre Krallen gewetzt haben.
Positiv war der zügige Kontakt zur Besitzerin, die uns mit sehr nützlichen Tipps versorgt hat und dem Hausmeister-Ehepaar, welches den Pool regelmäßig gesäubert und immer mal wieder nach dem rechten gesehen hat.
Die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig, aber zu Fuss braucht man knappe 30 Minuten um an der Küste mit Restaurants und Strand zu sein. Die Hälfte des Weges ist eine stark befahrene Strasse ohen Fussweg.
Der nächste Supermarkt ist nur mit dem Auto in 10-15 Minuten erreichbar.
Alles in allem: sehr netter Kontakt, aber keine Luxusvilla mehr

Endroit très agréable
Très bon sejour dans l'ensemble.
Villa idéalement située et spacieuse.
Gardiens sympathiques et disponibles.
Seul petit bémol : l'état des salles de bain (douche/wc) pas en tres bon etat et pas pratiques.
Nous recommandons.

Grande villa et très bonne localisation à Grand Baie
Nous avons séjourné à 11 personnes (6 adultes - 5 enfants) dans la villa Pendene.
La maison est très vaste et nous a permis d’avoir chacun notre indépendance (notamment grâce aux 3 salles de bains).
Les chambres sont grandes et bien équipées (climatisation).
La piscine est grande et agréable (accès sécurisée pour les enfants).
La localisation de la villa est idéale car à proximité des supermarchés et du centre ville de Grand Baie. (Attention préférer une voiture de location pour les déplacements car accès pas facile à pieds).
L’accueil par Nitish et sa femme s’est très bien déroulé, ils sont sympathiques et restent disponibles tout au long du séjour, notamment pour nous proposer des repas tout faits à la villa.
Je recommande cette location.
