I had a really pleasant stay at Hillview Motel in Goulburn. The room was clean, tidy, and well maintained, with everything I needed for a comfortable night’s rest. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure I felt looked after.

I stayed at Hillview Motel with my two kids and really appreciated how homey and comfortable it felt. Nothing fancy, but everything was clean, simple, and perfect for a good rest. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we all felt at ease. A lovely, relaxed place to stay — we’d happily come back.

Dirty cramped and unpleasant. Difficult to understand how this place is still trading. Health inspector needs to pay a visit. Must be lack of competition in Goulburn. Poor quality linen and cramped space with bed shoved against a wall. Difficult vehicular access with steep drive over gutter.

Absolutely useless Booked 3 days earlier and when we arrived at 5 pm after driving 5 hours we were told in broken English that we had no booking and they were full. I showed the man my phone log when I booked and even showed him my calendar. To his credit he did call another motel for us but it happened to be another dump. Judging by other reviews, perhaps it was good fortune that they stuffed the booking in the first place

Our stay was ok. It was a stop for one night on our way to QLD and it was budget, so got what expected. It was a tight squeeze for a family of five, but I was thankful that we all got in one room & I didn’t have to pay for two rooms. The double bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows but not enough blankets. If I had of realised this, I think the friendly host would have given extra. There also wasn’t a sheet on one of the beds but we made do. Rooms could do with a refurbishment. Definitely budget but wasn’t too bad.

Very, very basic. The old adage - you get what you pay for. Bedside lamp didn't work. Heater did not work also. Towels were very old and worn out. Very small room. Bed against the wall so you could only get out one side.

Absolutely vile. This motel was smelly, dirty and infested with cockroaches. I expected a simple small room for the price, that would have been sufficient for my overnight stop with my son. However the revolting stink of unwashed rooms, mold in the shower and the sheer number of cockroaches that came out once the lights were out was disgusting. My bed was awful,with unclean sheets and so many broken springs that I nearly fell out. We avoided showering as we didn't want to be in the room any longer snd didn't want to touch anything.
