Ein gutbürgerliches, mit einiger Patina behaftetes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Wegen der guten Lage (in Bahnhofsnähe, aber doch nicht weit vom Zentrum) und dem guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis zumindest für einen Kurzaufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen. Wer ein opulentes Frühstück und eine gefüllte Minibar erwartet, wird allerdings enttäuscht.

Schönes Hotel, elegant eingerichtet. Sehr schönes Frühstück. Tolles Personal. Die Zimmer sind klassisch eingerichtet und in den Betten schläft man sehr gut. Immer wieder gerne. Das beste ist die perfekte zentrale Lage in einer trotzdem Ruhigen Gegend.

Wer Kronleuchter mag ist hier gut aufgehoben. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, ein klassisches elegantes Hotel mit edler Einrichtung. Wir hatten ein Blich zur Straßenseite, man blickte direkt in einen herrlichen Baum. Neue Fenster sorgen dafür, dass man von der Straße nichts mitbekommen hat. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, nichts außergewöhnliches. Für Vegetarier/Veganer wenig Auswahl.

Ähnlich wie zB ein Maritim in Mannheim:: man sieht ihn nicht nur… man riecht den Charme der 70/80er sofort beim Betreten des Hauses. Eher etwas für die Frühgeborenen (meine Meinung), weil: altes Mobiliar und alte Bäder. Für meinen Geschmack (wohlgemerkt: das Hotel hatte mir auf Wunsch Allergikerbettwäsche gerichtet) zu dreckig!

A thoroughly delightful hotel a few hundred yards from the Railway Station. Splendidly decorated with much elegance and the well-presented breakfast is excellent. I could see nothing to criticise except, perhaps, two details linked to my age. At 78, an ankle level safe is not very practical and a grab-rail would make it easier to get out of a shower some 20cm off the floor and with an exit on the corner. But I managed. heartily recommended.

Reaching a 5 - 7 min walk from the main station, the hotel is very conveninent for both city sightseeing and access to the station. The room is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is basic but freshly prepared. The hotel also has a classic German-style restaurant where I enjoyed the meal very much. Definitely, I will stay there next year again for the famous Handel Festival.

Convenient to both the train station and the town. Our initially assigned room had an unpleasant smell (not mold) but they were very accommodating in moving us to another room, which was odor free and fine. Rooms are large, but could stand a little updating of style. Staff very friendly and helpful, including Philip at the bar, the front desk staff, and breakfast service. We even received a traditional little gift at our door the morning of “St. Nick’s Day”.
