古斯福斯豪爾賓館(Gosforth Hall Inn)

We had room 6 which is in the top floor, stunning room with beams, huge bed, beautiful well equipped en-suite with a large shower. Booked for an evening meal as well. Services was exceptional, food delivered quickly and the staff were happy to accommodate us when we moved from inside to sit outside before our food was brought out. The beer garden is well planned out and has all sorts of different types of seating, it’s quite the sun trap. Dogs were a plenty and all very well behaved. The Inn’s resident cat doesn’t bat an eyelid at them either! Breakfast was perfect and delivered quickly. I would highly recommend anyone staying here!

I’ve stayed here a number of times. Each time the rooms have been clean and comfortable. The location is good. There is adequate parking. There is a restaurant here too which does nice food and drinks (although there is a limited menu on Sundays. I would recommend this hotel.

Charming hotel in the small village of Gosforth with plenty of history inside this hotel. The bedroom I had was in the main building and was worthy of five stars. Tastefully modernised without losing the charm of a past era. Clean and spacious with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Staff very friendly and patient with everyone’s needs. Food varied and something for everyone’s tastes. If your there when the quiz night takes place go along and enjoy the fun. Lots to do in the area so get out and about .

The room we had was perfect. We had 3 labs with us and the room was plenty big enough !. We stayed in A1 which has a shared space with table couches and TV outside the locked bedrooms. We were lucky had the whole thing to ourselves. Barbara and all the staff were so attentive nothing was too much trouble. We had good weather so sitting in the beautiful outside space of an evening was great. Tapas for tea lovely really enjoyed our stay

Our recent stay here was lovely. The room was clean & had everything we needed. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious, we both had a pie & would definitely recommend. Breakfast was really good. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Next time we are up visiting the area we will definitely stay here again. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Gosforth Hall is what we like to call our Hidden Gem. Lovely character hotel and you are made to feel very welcome and you soon settle in and enjoy some great food, bar and the outside terrace garden is great. Perfect for your escape to the Lakes and we can’t wait to be back soon .. Cheers!

We recently booked as were hiking Scafell Pike and the location was perfect. We stayed in Annex B in a dog friendly room and ate in the restaurant. Both accommodation and food are excellent and the beer garden is a lovely area. Our dog was treat like one of their own and was given plenty treats. We enjoyed it that much we returned the following weekend, would absolutely recommend!

We had a lovely one-night stay in one of the apartments - three adults, one teenager. There was so much space and the rooms were beautifully decorated. Very friendly service, great food, great cocktails, freshly cooked delicious breakfast in the morning and a perfect location for walking and exploring the area. Very dog friendly too. Only thing to note is that while the apartments have a fridge, toaster and kettle there are no other cooking facilities, however the food is so good you don't need to cook anything! Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful time at Gosforth Hall Hotel with live music over the weekend the owners and staff where absolutely wonderful and very helpful even at 2am in the morning LOL food was very tasty. The locals where nice and a good laugh as well which also contributed to an amazing time and cannot wait to go back again . Thank you all xx
