Very friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Rooms and hotel kept tidy and very clean. Svimming pool at the roof floor offered solid views of the surrounding area. Hotel arranged a worthwile trip to Barkap, whick was interesting. Beds a little hard.

The Gorkha Garden Hotel is staffed by enthusiastic and welcoming Nepalis, in a peaceful part of the town. The view over the valley from the bedrooms is lovely (see photo). My group had a good one night stay here on our way from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

Nach einer Fahrt von 11 Stunden habe ich mich wie alle anderen aus unserer Reisegruppe darauf gefreut, dass wir in einem so neuen und offenbar tollen Hotel gelandet sind. Nachdem wir die Zimmerkarten bekommen haben, musste ich feststellen, dass meine nicht funktioniert hat. Kein Problem, das kann passieren. Doch auf dem Weg zur Rezeption ist der Aufzug stecken geblieben und das Licht ging aus. Die Dame von der Rezeption, die sich nach meinem Notruf bei mir gemeldet hat, konnte oder wollte mein Englisch nicht verstehen, so dass jemand aus meiner Reisegruppe mit mir reden musste. Nach etwa einer Viertel Stunde hat man mich raus geholt. Dank unserem tollen Reiseleiter habe ich als Entschuldigung wenigstens einen Cocktail bekommen, aber auch nur, weil ich darauf bestanden habe. Ein Hotelmitarbeiter ist mit mir zusammen in den 4. Stock hoch gegangen. Die Karte ging nicht - hatte ich denen doch erklärt. Ich habe dann ein anderes Zimmer im gleichen Stockwerk bekommen. Da war es stickig und heiß, die Balkontür lässt sich nicht öffnen und die Dusche hat auch nicht hundertprozentig funktioniert. Sollte ich nochmal nach Nepal kommen, werde ich dieses Hotel meiden.

Gorkha Garden hotel is Best hotel in Gorkha. Staffs are so friendly and warm welcoming no matter there were many trainee working here. Delicious food good service. Little bit down part was breakfast service as it was bit late and keep reminding for our orders however was covered by one of the server(forgot her name) Beautiful views from hotel room as it has balcony and can view sunrise & sunsets. Overall experience was excellent. Definitely visit again and recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gorkha Garden hotel together with our visitors from Europe. The hotel is by far the most luxurious in Gorkha Bazar. The rooms are spacious, beds are great and bathroom tip top modern. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant served the best Nepali food I have had in a restaurant so far (two years in nepal) If you want to stay in a modern star rated hotel, do not hesitate to choose Gorkha Garden Hotel.

Had a pleasant stay at Hotel Gorkha Garden. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was warm and welcoming. The garden area is peaceful — a great spot to relax. Food was decent, and the location is convenient for exploring the area. Overall, a good value for the price.
