It’s near a very busy highway and industrial area with the constant noise from traffic especially trucks and road trains in the evening when you are trying to relax. "We booked our accomodation over 6 months ago. We reconfirmed 3 months ago, asked for email confirmation and they advised it wasn’t necessary, this made me nervous. Called 2 days before our booking to be told we hadn’t rung to confirm, spoke to both owners and confirmed and neither could get the booking correct. I would not recommend this park to anyone. When we tried to book elsewhere they advised us the town is booked out due to the 500. I believe they gave our 1 night stay away and gave it to someone who was stating longer. The owner was ruin and abrupt, we now are under pressure and will be travelling 800km instead of 600km. DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU USE THIS PARK."

"Everything was so clean it was lovely. Comfortable bed, nice spacious room & under cover parking. The restaurant was great with good honest meals. Friendly welcome. On the edge of town there was some truck noise but nothing to complain about."

"Goondiwindi Tourist Park. Goondiwindi Tourist Park is beautifully located on the riverbank, making it a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. You can choose between staying in a cabin or in the camping area, depending on your travel style. If you stay in a cabin, you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable visit. The cabin is neat and tidy, very cozy, and equipped with a split-system air conditioner, so you can stay warm during the cooler autumn and winter nights. There is also a small but well-equipped kitchen with a stovetop, pots and frying pan, spoons, knives, forks, bowls, plates, spatulas, skimmers, a bottle opener, wine glasses, and cups. The cabin includes a bathroom and two bedrooms: one with a queen-size bed and another with a bunk bed for children. Warm blankets and fresh towels are provided—everything a traveller might need. The park also offers great shared facilities, including a BBQ area, a very clean swimming pool, and laundry and toilet amenities for campers. One of the highlights is the chance to enjoy a quiet morning by the river with a cup of coffee, relaxing and soaking up the sunshine on a warm, cozy day."

"I had the misfortune of dealing with Dom the manager. After booking my stay for the 4th September the day before, and advising him we would most likely be arriving late from driving from Goulburn. Don said this would be fine and to ring back in the day to confirm late arrival so he could leave a cabin open. He then proceeded to proceed my fee of $144. I rang on the day, to advise that we would not be arriving til 10pm. Dom proceeded to tell me it was poor planning on my behalf and would not allow me to enter the park so late. He also then refused to provide me a refund. What a rude and arrogant person. "

"Lovely place to stay! Friendly staff and the room was great, clean, big and comfy. Not far from down town. They have a restaurant but we opted to eat in town and one of the local restaurants but the menu for the restaurant looked great. It was a busy motel but in our room we couldn’t really hear anything"
