"This resort is perfect for a relaxing family vacation. It has a wonderful, laid-back vibe, which really helps you unwind. We were happy with our beach-facing room. The rooms / bathrooms themselves were clean and comfortable. We appreciated the flexibility to manage the A/C to our preference and the option for daily housekeeping. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We even received contact details for a reasonably priced taxi service for airport transfers (from Goa) and local sightseeing, which was a huge convenience. While there isn't a direct road to Kudle Beach, it is easily accessible. The resort is also conveniently located about 1 km from the Mahabaleshwar Temple, with auto service available just a 2-3 minute walk away. The walk back from Kudle beach requires a little effort, but is definitely manageable for even senior citizens who are reasonably fit. Overall, the food was good and the entire experience was excellent. We highly recommend this resort!"

"Our stay at Sunny Serenity in Gokarna was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled outside the main town, this place is a true oasis for those seeking peace and tranquility. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warmth and kindness. My family (including two small children) arrived very early in the morning after a long journey from Hampi. We didn’t expect a room to be ready at that hour—we simply needed a place to rest for a bit. However, the wonderful staff, especially Raul, went above and beyond, welcoming us with open arms and making sure my wife and kids had a comfortable spot to relax while they hurried to prepare our room ahead of check-in time. One day, I needed to go into Gokarna town for supplies, but my scooter wouldn’t start. Without hesitation, Sunny, the owner, generously offered me his own scooter so I could make the trip—an act of kindness that speaks volumes about the hospitality here. The food at Sunny Serenity was fantastic—delicious, rich, and full of local flavors. Additionally, as I was combining my trip with some work, I was happy to find that the WiFi was stable and reliable, making it easy to stay connected when needed. Overall, I highly recommend this place. The location, hospitality, food, and incredible staff made our stay unforgettable. I will definitely return!"

"Spent a couple of nights last month in this property. The property looks good from outside with spacious reception, dining, cottages all around a swimming pool. While the room was decent, the washroom was not well maintained with exhaust fan not working, the electrical switches not fitted properly, hot water not available etc. It was a bit disappointing. The option for food was limited although quality and taste was good. May be we visited in an "off season" and hence our choice was limited. They have a SPA and I enjoyed a session in the spa with a very well trained therapist."

"Be cautious when booking with Zostel! Even in cases of genuine medical emergencies, they refuse to refund advance payments, despite providing all necessary proof and canceling well in advance. Their lack of empathy and rigid policies make it clear that profits come before people. I also had a horrible experience at Zostel Varkala, where the manager threatened to charge ₹500 per person if we didn’t vacate by 10 AM, making us feel pressured and harassed. This kind of behavior reflects their poor customer service and disregard for guests' well-being. Think twice before choosing Zostel – your peace of mind isn’t worth the risk!"
