科羅拉多飯店(Hotel Colorado)

We had a great stay at hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs. Of course it’s amazing to stay in an iconic hotel that has existed for 130 years, and it’s charm and decor do not disappoint. The renovated rooms have maintained their charm, while having a little style update. The staff is amazing – very helpful and willing to make sure that your stay is an enjoyable one. In the summer, do not miss dining on the patio.

We loved the location. We could walk everywhere. We walked to Iron Mountains Springs - about a mile walk. We took the Amtrak train which was a beautiful ride to Glenwood Springs, and the hotel is just over a walking bridge to the hotel. We had a delicious dinner outside with amazing live music Thursday night. The hotel is old but clean, the bathrooms could use some upgrading, but it was clean, and we would stay there again!!

The check in process was long as it was time to check in. The long line took about 25 minutes as there was only one person at the front desk. Our king one bedroom suite was extremely dirty. There was hair in the bathtub there is weird stains in the corner. The entire bathroom wasn’t cleaned. I don’t think the room had been playing at all. The staff was nice and moved us to a new room.

I want to love the property, really I do. I think it’s a bit “tired” primarily in the public areas. The rooms have no climate control to speak of other than a window and ceiling fan. Our room was so hot that we had trouble sleeping, and if we opened the window, the sound of big-rigs using their Jake-brakes on the very nearby I-70 made things worse. The restaurant on-site was OK. The bar was nice, very loud though. We probably will look for something quieter next time. Great location for restaurants and the hot springs though.

First time staying there. Employees were friendly and helpful. Food was good. We wished the hotel shuttle didn’t shut down at 6 in the evening. No complaints other than the shuttle.

I have never had such bad customer service. From not getting the room I paid for and then the front desk telling me it was my fault for going thought a third party and next time I will know better. Trying to check in and out and everyone at the front desk tries to act like they are busy so no one has to help the next person. Very cool old hotel but the staff is terrible except Thomas he is amazing and drove us and picked us up wherever we wanted. He also gave excellent recommendations for meals. He was the the highlight of the stay at the Hotel Colorado

We just spent the most lovely weekend at the hotel, Colorado. The room was absolutely gorgeous and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It was so cozy and full of character. The hotel was beautiful, the people, friendly, the food was great, and we had the best massage we’ve ever had. Honestly, one of the best weekends I remember in a long time. Thank you hotel Colorado you were amazing.
