For an establishment that is decked out beautifully, and very welcoming, the bar staff were far from that. Several tables around us got shouted at by one of the bar staff, who was trying to clean tables whilst people were sat there. This was at 9pm for a midnight closing! She was extremely rude and unfriendly throughout our visit, which made the entire time we were there unpleasant and depressing. The karaoke person was lovely and continued to apologize for her behavior.

Great hotel clean comfortable room amazing water pressure in the shower. I stayed on a Thursday and they had live music in the restaurant followed by karaoke later on. The food was excellent large choice of Indian food & some traditional dishes ( I had the chicken schnitzel with sauted potatoes, broccoli & mushroom sauce … very good) I’d also like to mention Sydney the extremely hard working bar maid, she was lovely 😁👍

10/12/2024 My friend recommended we go for some drinks to celebrate the festive season, as she had been previously and throughly enjoyed it. However our evening was quickly ruined but one of the bartenders on shift, she was short and snappy with not only guests but with her own colleagues, while trying to enjoy our evening we overheard the bartender with short blonde hair speaking very aggressively to the younger lady who was also working behind the bar, she had snapped something along the lines of ‘don’t speak to me like that’ when she hadn’t done or said anything out of line or disrespectful - she was incredibly polite towards the other bartender and despite the other lady treating her terribly and she still managed to carry on working remain professional throughout the whole ordeal. This was completely unprofessional and unacceptable she felt she could speak to her colleagues like that in front of customers. This ruined the evening for us and made us feel very uncomfortable. I turly hope the young bartender is okay.

Where do I start, last night me and my wife decided to stop in for a few drinks as we had heard great things how wrong this was, we were initially served by a young female bartender who was very attentive and got us our drinks quick but as we settled to enjoy said drinks we noticed the other older bartender had a what can only be described as a horrific attitude and utter lack of compassion for her co-worker, we both felt very uncomfortable by this as the young woman seemed very overwhelmed by the way she was being spoken to, we attempted to enjoy our drinks but this was very rudely interrupted by the older bartender once again very loudly barking orders and berating the young woman who looked as if she was on the brink of tears, this was the final straw we couldn’t take it anymore we quickly finished our drinks and left. This was completely disgusting behaviour to witness and definitely won’t be back, the only reason there is one star is because of the young bartender she was lovely

Passed by at 6.15 to order & collect an Indian carry out. Told they were busy ( with 6 covers in the restaurant) and they said this evening no take outs. I’d steer clear of this place based on appalling customer service. They didn’t give a scoobies

I don't think I've seen such a badly managed bar in my 40+ years of drinking. Arrived before 6pm on a Saturday. My first choice of beer was unavailable - they had run out. I got one pint of my second choice before it too run out. Had to send 2 consecutive glasses of spirits back as the glasses were hot, straight from the dishwasher. Had to ask the bar staff to serve me instead of emptying the dishwasher. He could see me standing there but chose to ignore me - lack of training. The food is paid for separately as it is a franchise and was really good but when we asked for the bill we were also presented with a drinks bill, despite having ordered and paid for our drinks at the bar.
