滑雪旅館

If you wanted a room where anyone in the multi unit house - or neighborhood - could sneak up the back outside stairs and easily enter by hopping through the window at waist level into your bedroom on the second floor, this is the place for you. I called the manager who was aware of the issue. Nothing could be done about it. It was sold out tonight and no one ever complained before. Maybe because Alaska is usually cold???  This is a rare warm spell. Lucky me.  Women traveling solo have safety concerns. This is a solo room. I am a travel agent and was a commercial hospitality liability underwriter in another life. This should have been disclosed. I again viewed the photo of the room - there is nothing to indicate that there is a walkway and stairway outside the window. I can send pictures of the bedroom from the outside looking in from the stairway.  It should not be offered as a bedroom. Make it into anything other than a sleeping unit if the safety element cannot be fixed.  This is a huge fail This is NOT acceptable.

Great Place to stay! My husband and I came for a night at the Sitzmark. I had downloaded my email from the Ski Inn but didn't realize it was an email from a year ago so we couldn't get in. The Ski Inn was very responsive when I called and found our reservation and got us in and off for a fun night! Thanks for your courtesy and all of your help!

Stayed one night at the Ski inn, when I showed up it appeared I was the only one at the place, no other guests or staff. Went to sleep only to be woken up to someone trying to get into my room after 10:30pm. Startled as I didn't hear any commotion and didn't see any other cars in the parking lot. Waited to hear something and the person proceeded for 30 minutes to get into my room.. No response from the ownership as to why someone would be trying to get into my room. Eventually called 911 to check and ensure there was no entruders. Couldn't sleep the remainder of the night. As a solo female traveler would not recommend for security purposes as they don't have staff on hand and allow late reservations/"self" check-in so they dont check any ID or documentaiton.

Affordable comfortable accommodations Great location. Close to good restaurants. About a mile to the ski lodge. Clean comfortable. I had the top floor with a kitchen private bathroom shower. Overall very pleasant stay.

Nous avons passé une seule nuit dans le Ski Inn mais nous avons très bien dormi. C'est très calme et les snacks dans l'espace partagé sont très appréciables !! Merci.
