Nice peaceful location in the forest with clean rooms, comfy beds, and a lovely pool. However, it’s quite far from others restaurants out side the resort, so you really need a private car to get around. But service was slow - we had to ask a few times just to get hand towels. needs better service and value. There was some entertainment in an African style, which added a nice touch to the evenings.

Not exactly what I expected from the photos and reviews. The resort is at least one kilometer inside from the main road. The place is small and congested. The standard room is very small with nothing more than a bed and a small cupboard. There were no chairs and table in the room and no place to unpack your suitcase. So if you order food in the room, you eat it on the bed. The bathroom was small and not very clean. The pool is very small, barely enough for 15-20 people, while the total capacity of the resort is around 200-250 persons. The play room is in shambles and has no fans or air-conditioning. The carrom board is very rough and no dices to play with. The place for high tea is dirty and has only few chairs. The parking are is very small. The food is priced exorbitantly while the taste is just okay. Nobody came to clean the room or change the linen. The staff is unprofessional. Just because the resort is fully booked, it doesn't mean it is good, but it certainly makes the management think that what they are doing is good. Don't be fooled by the photos and the reviews. It certainly doesn't give your money's worth.

We spent an excellent night at Saavaj Resort, Sasan Gir on 22-23 Oct 24. This was certainly one of the best Hotel experiences that we had, in a very long time. The superb property, beautifully maintained, the good clean room, excellent friendly staff always eager to make your stay experience very comfortable, lip smacking food served for Break fast, Lunch, Dinner with excellent hospitality at the restaurant etc all made our stay experience superb. We experienced the Gir Lion Safari for which Saavaj Resort provided the Safari Gypsy services (pickup/drop) from the Hotel itself. All in all an excellent stay experience. We recommend Saavaj Resort, Sasan Gir.

It was During our Long Road Trip to ******. Excellent place to stay and enjoy. We stayed here during our Long Road Trip from Hyderabad to ******. Food was great, Service was excellent. We enjoyed the Tribal Program arranged by Management during our stay. Two Nights stay was great. We visited Somnath also from same place.
