Sarovar portico Sadan gir is best hotel in Gir food was good stay was comfortable the staff was good. Front office team was very halpfull especially mr Piyush and Anil was good person food was very testy and staff was nice Thank you so much Sarovar portico team

Sarovar Portico Gir resort is very strategically located and easy on the pocket, its close to both the Lion Safari and the Devaliya Interpretation Zone, The hotel ambience is very neatly done..with a pool and play area for children.The resort staff is very friendly and always ready to make amendments as per the convenience of the guest. Mr. Rahul, the Guest Relation manager was very helpful in assisting us with all the necessary arrangements. All in all it was a wonderful stay, and we plan to go back there in the monsoon season too

Well this is a personal experience and may vary for others. I had booked two room for me and my family. In hurry I forgot set of clothes ( including some imported shirts and trousers) and my baby' s medicines in the cupboard of one of the rooms. The moment I realised it I gave a call to the hotel, hoping a reputed hotel like theirs and one charging mid level premium tariffs would have certainly kept the same in lost and found section. For atleast a day nobody answered calls. Thereafter for 3 days they kept telling me that the same will be checked with housekeeping. I also wrote a mail but didnt receive any reply. Finally I was told that nothing has been found!!! I agree, it was my mistake to forget my stuff but having stayed at many hotels across the world, didnt expect this from a hotel of this repute. Second issue is with the bathroom. The WC and dustbins has got water stains and the basin is having cracks and requires to be changed. I have marked the hotel two stars and the additional star is for the restaurant staff who are very warm and make you feel welcome. As also for the location of the hotel which is one of the closest to Gir sanctuary.

Excellent service. Specifically, the staff members, Shyamali, Tanu and Jayanti, at the restaurant have given an excellent and proactive service with an eye for the detail. Tried some local cuisine...and it was very good.

Excellent service. Mr Narendra from restaurant was very nice, very helpful. Room also was nice . Overall I am happy with my stay
