Generally I thought the stay was excellent. The front of house looks out onto the standby beach and sea (albeit all the hotels in that area have the main road in between them and the sand) and has a small pool and pool bar. The staff are extremely helpful and we thought made the experience so much better. For example we wanted to try and rent some bicycles from a reputable merchant and they sorted it for us in literally about 2-3 minutes (the bicycles were delivered to the front of the hotel in less than 5 minutes). We also wanted to use a sun lounger on the beach and they moved them for us before we could even ask if it was possible. They were so helpful and lovely. We made use of the spa which was good; certainly the best massage I had whilst on holiday. The bedrooms are fairly basic, but there's everything you need (you don't go to Gili T to spend all day in the hotel room!). The main issue, covered in other reviews, is the noise in the evening and early morning. There's not much the hotel can do to be fair; however, there is often thumping bass playing nearby until about 1am (that alone didn't stop me from nodding off!) and then people using the central courtyard pool from early doors. All are clearly audible in the room, so the hotel provides complementary earplugs! We had one lunch at the hotel and I thought the food was good quality (we just had pizza and chips - not very adventurous but was good!). I felt the breakfast could be improved. Service was, as ever, great but there was a list of options which felt quite restrictive. My partner asked for poached eggs on toast (not on the menu) and they were happy to do that. I asked for the noodles which were under the vegetarian section yet unfortunately they brought them out with chicken stirred in. I probably should have clarified when I ordered, but then it shouldn't really be in the vegetarian part of the menu! These are fairly minor complaints in what was an otherwise lovely stay and I would certainly recommend to others visiting Gili Trawangan.

Good hotel with clean rooms, within walking distance from the harbor. The rooms are cleaned daily. The breakfast offers enough options to choose from. Note that you cannot have eggs and sweets. You have to choose either a veggie option, or an egg based option, or a sweets option. The hotel has its own beach, and you can use the sunbeds there free of charge. Due to its proximity to the harbor the sea in front of the hotel might be crowded with speedboats. Every night they have live music. Next to the hotel there is an Irish Pub if you are interested.

Niewielki hotel usytuowany przy plaży, raptem 4 minuty pieszo z portu, do którego przypłyniesz. Jest to najlepsza miejscówka na Gili T. W hotelu znajdziesz wszystko, czego potrzebujesz. Od samego wejścia czujesz się zaopiekowany przez przemiły personel. Młodzież zadba o twoje samopoczucie. Jest kilka leżaków na plaży i kilka nad basenem. W restauracji serwują bardzo dobre posiłki, a śniadania a’ la carte to jest top- przepyszne- kilka do wyboru w tym vege i na słodko. Wieczorami muzyka na żywo, a rankiem zapierający dech w piersi wschód słońca. Spokojne, cieplutkie morze, a w nim przy hotelu możesz też spotkać żółwia. Spędziłem w The Beach House Resort 3 noce i było rewelacyjnie. Polecam!

Mir hat das Hotel sehr gut gefallen und ich würde es gerne wieder besuchen, obwohl die Zimmer etwas klein waren und es nicht ganz ruhig war. Man kann alles auf der Insel mit dem Fahrrad erkunden. Es ist sehr zentral in der Nähe des Hafens gelegen, bietet aber auch Rückzugsmöglichkeiten im hinteren wunderschön angelegten Pool. Der vordere Pool mit Blick auf das Meer und die belebte Straße mit Pferdekutschen und Fahrrädern hat eine Poolbar und ist sehr cool. Man kann von hier aus alles beobachten.

Stayed in. Villa Milati. Perfect layout with private pool, large outdoor lounge/kitchen/relaxing area. staff make this resort the best, Dewa, Arndana, Dedi and team all work so hard but with smiles and time to chat, advise on local options and share a laugh. Food is fab, included breakfast is full of enough options, we stayed 12 days, never bored with options, including lunch and dinner menus. . So many food options on GiliT, you can eat somewhere different every meal if you want - easy. We loved Gili T. Sand, clear waters, turtles, fish, snorkeling, riding, walking, eating. Maybe avoid the peak season, May was just right for us with quantity of visitors for such a small island.

The location of the hotel is excellent; very close to the port and also the southern (quiet) side of the island We really liked the breakfast and the service of all staff; including Dedi at the restaurant. We will return again next time we visit Gili Trawangan
