Great staff! Friendly, helpful, accommodating. Staff were definitely the highlight of the stay. Truly made you feel welcomed and appreciated. Hotel is basic but good for the area. Little issues like electricity spotty, wifi even spottier, limited lighting in the rooms, toilet works/doesn't work but nothing serious. Place was very clean which is most important. Beds good. Restaurant provides good food and lots of it!

Hotel od początku przypadł mi do gustu .Szybko po zameldowaniu udałem się na taras na ostatnim piętrze .Oczarowały mnie widoki na okoliczne szczyty i dolinę z miasteczkiem i fortem Baltit w tle. Jeszcze przed póżnym obiadem zdążyłem zapoznać się z hotelem . Przestronne wnętrza wykończone w drewnie , wzorowa czystość i wszędzie mili ludzie z obsługi . Może czeka go niebawem remont ale dla mnie miał w sobie duszę i świetnie się tu czułem . Restauracja pozytywnie zaskoczyła wielodaniowym obiadem w formie bufetu . Było w czym wybierać . Na deser były nie tylko słodkości ale także duży wybór owoców . Obsługa sprawnie dopilnowała aby niczego nie brakowało . Zresztą przy śniadaniu potwierdziły się wszystkie walory dobrej kuchni i takiej samej obsługi . Pokój również był przestronny z bardzo dużym oknem i pięknym widokiem . Łazienka z pełnym wyposażeniem idealnie uzupełniała całą resztę .Poranny widok z tarasu na górze mimo nie najlepszej pogody zapamiętam na długo . Hotel oferuje pokoje w trzech różnych standardach i trzech różnych cenach .

Stayed here for 2 nights. Good value for money. Great view from the room. Big rooms and all the necessary amenities. The front office staff Shawaz Alam provided great customer service and was always ready to help. Will definitely stay here again when in Hunza next time.

Das Hotel macht zuerst einen guten Eindruck; leider ist der technische Zustand nicht besonders gut. Das warme Wasser ist braun, das kalte Wasser leicht braun, die Elektrik fällt manchmal aus - aber kein Blackout im Netz, sondern Sicherungen die sich abschalten. Die Mannschaft bemüht sich mit großem Einsatz diese Unzulänglichkeiten zu beheben. Das ist ein deutlicher Lichtblick.

This hotel is well past its prime and needs a serious overhaul in order to raise its standards. The staff are lovely and the view from the terrace is outstanding - but neither can make up for the dingy feeling throughout the property. Everything just about worked but we felt it could all fall apart at any moment. Even the towels in the bathrooms have seen better days. Karimabad is a delightful town and the views of the mountains all around are staggering. Having made it all the way to Hunza, do yourself a favour and find a hotel that deserves your custom.

The hotel is at an excellent location; on a slope overlooking the Hunza valley. However, it is passed its prime and the rooms/toilets need substantial refitting. The staff seems to be new and do not know much of the hotel. They appear to have several brands of air conditioner and the remote controls were not properly issued to the rooms, resulting to some only able to switch on and off with no ability to adjust the function and temperature. I managed to sort it out on the next morning when the technician brought in 3 remote controls. House keeping was a disaster. They did not enter my room dispute having left the keys at the front desk, asking for cleaning and new towels. I was in the last room of the corridor. My fellow traveler was luckier since his room was further up the corridor near the reception but they still left a bag of rubbish in the toilet. The room was dusty and you can see a layer of dust at the corners of the windows. Serena Hunza just opened across the road. They still have not completed all the rooms and my party was not able to secure our rooms there. In due course, Hunza Dunbar will be very challenged; guest moving to Serena and good staff joining them too. I hope the management will wake up and save this beautiful property. The food in the restaurant was mediocre. On the second night, we went across the road for dinner at a local restaurant.
