We stayed here for two nights as part of our tour of Gilgit Baltistan and the Hunza Valley. I was told by a friend who had been here several years ago that this is the best hotel in the region. It had maintained this reputation. The rooms and showers were of good size and comparable to any 5 stars in Asia or Europe. The view of Mt Rakaposhi in the front lawn is breath taking. you can have your afternoon tea there. Buffet dinner was excellent and I would rate it the best for the trip. As the best hotel in Gilgit and inexpensive compared to the major cities in the West, the rooms are frequently filled during the peak travel period. So book ahead. On the last night in Gilgit Baltistan, we stayed again at this hotel and experienced its suite rooms. I will certain come back to this hotel when I visit Giglit again.

The overall service declined, no focus on hygiene factor, let’s after putting hands in washroom dustbin they touch the face towel without even washing hands, interns hired to cut the price which don’t have any idea how to deal with guests, food prices increased while the portion went drastically lower, sooner it would be listed as regular low guest house if attention not paid.

Customer service was incredible. Specially Javed at the front desk. Went beyond expectations! Food was also great and everything was easily accessible from the hotel to any view point or even the market is nearby! The best place to stay when you’re ever in Gilgit!

We stayed at this Hotel overnight and used it as the first stop on the way to the Hunza Valley. The rooms were well appointed and the staff were excellent. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was excellent. We found the shop owner at the souvenir to be an honest man who advised us as to which Jewellery had imitation stones and which were genuine. This one from Serena did not disappoint. Keep it up Serena.
