Maison Willem Tell

We zijn eerst hartelijk ontvangen door de dochter, zij was enorm vriendelijk, we kregen uitleg, een plannetje van Gent en info over de parkeerplaats. Onze kamer was prachtig, alles was aanwezig! De kamer was netjes en zeer groot! Wij hadden uitzicht op hun tuintje dat mooi verzorgd was.

Si tratta di un palazzo storico quindi ci può essere qualche disagio dovuto alle scale ripide da affrontare con bagagli. La ristrutturazione però è molto accurata e gli appartamenti risultano arredati con gusto e comfort. Ottima l’accoglienza ricevuta al nostro arrivo. La dotazione per la colazione è ricca e viene completata al mattino con un cesto di pane e croissant consegnato sulla porta della camera (non abbiamo trovato posate ma penso per una dimenticanza). La posizione è vicina alla stazione ed al centro.

We arrived to a really warm welcome from our hosts that still live in the house. We got a brilliant background on the history of the house and lots of tips and tricks for our stay in Ghent. If you stay here there is no need to drive anywhere to see all the main attractions in Ghent. Everything is in easy reach. Parking is available. The accommodation itself is beautiful, we were downstairs in number 5 and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. Breakfast is provided but you have it in your own room which is nice, excellent fresh bread/pastries are delivered to your room in the mornings and everything else is already in your room. We had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend both Ghent and Maison Willem Tell to families or couples/friends.
