Die Kleidung der Caddys nicht 5 Sterne würdig, wir waren in der Zalze top Kleidung der Caddys, wäre eine Überlegung wert. Leider werden Gruppen bevorzugt gegenüber Langzeithotelgästen. Gruppen sehr laut und störend. Was wir sehr schade fanden, 3 Stunden für 9 Löcher ist nicht lustig, mussten bei den zweiten 9 leider abbrechen damit wir nicht in Dunkelheit spielen mussten. Das Personal sehr freundlich und das Essen Top.

Es war wieder sehr schön für uns im Fancourt. Leider waren die Zimmer schon sehr abgewohnt. Farbe an den Türen abgeblättert, Aussenlicht hat die ganze Nacht geblinkt, Toilettenpapierhalter war total locker usw. Das war leider nicht ein 5 Sterne Status. Weiterhin hat man uns obwohl wir im Januar schon Startzeiten angefragt haben, oft Zeiten ganz früh oder ganz spät gegeben. Grund dafür waren die Reisegruppen die anscheinend den Vorrang hatten vor den Langzeithotelgästen. Das Personal war irrsinnig freundlich, das Essen hervorragend.

Sehr gut, jedoch mit Einbußen. Gruppen werden stark gegenüber Langzeiturlaubern bevorzugt. Immer sehr laut. Aufgrund der hohen Dichte 3 Stunden für 9 Löcher. Chaddys könnten eine neue Dienstkleidung vertragen- nicht den Plätzen entsprechend. Personal total bemüht und freundlich. Essen top. Hoffe beim nächsten Mal besser

Tolles 5 Sterne , super Essen , nettes Personal voll motiviert mit Ausnahme von der Rezeption umd dem Beauty . Haben keinen Termin für eine Pedikure/Manikure gefunden . Wollten ein Golfcar um die Anlage zu besichtigen , nach Anfrage bei der Rezeption mussten wir eine Stunde auf die zuständige Person warten um danach mitgeteilt zu erhalten es wäre nichts frei . Manco : kleiner Ruheraum und Saunas für Hausgäste nur beim Pool . Wir hatten Glück und durften den Rest auch benützen , da uns ein Clubmitglied rein lies . Schade eigendlich sollte man als Hausgast den Zutritt erhalten und nicht umgekehrt . Wellness muss noch ausgebaut werden . Aussenpool leider nicht beheizt und Whirlpool funktionierte nicht , ins Alter gekommen . Aber die Freundlichkeit des restlichen Personals lies diese Mankos gleich wieder vergessen .

Hotel é muito bom mesmo !! 5 estrelas !! Alto nível !! Quarto incrível, cama maravilhosa, limpeza, chão aquecido, tv, vista… tudo bom. Campos de Golf incríveis… The Links e Montague incríveis. Cafe da manhã muito completo e em um lugar muito gostoso. Pro Shop completo. Merece nota 5.

Wir waren vor 27 Jahren schon einmal im Fancourt und seitdem hat sich viel verändert! Insbesondere wurde die Anlage erheblich vergrößert. Man kommt hierher, um zu Golfen - und dafür gibt es drei wunderschöne Kurse, von denen wir den Outeniqua gespielt haben. Es gibt die verschiedensten Unterkunftsoptionen, wir hatten einen Classic Room, der ganz vernünftig war. Aufgrund der Anlagengröße kann ein Massenbetrieb leider nicht ganz vermieden werden, insbesondere beim Abendessen.

Wir wohnten im Manor house und unser Zimmer war top. Das einzige was ich zu bemängeln hatte war dass keine Getränke in der Minibar waren! Es gab 2 Bereiche wo man Frühstücken und Essen konnte. Wenn man nicht den Kantinentrubel wollte konnten Gäste des Manor house in einem separaten Bereich Frühstücken und Abendessen. Dort gab es auch jeden Tag eine Teatime und einen separaten kleinen Pool mit Liegen. Das gesamte Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich besonders May hat sich sehr nett um alles gekümmert. Die Golfplätze sind sehr schön aber besonders The Links ist sehr teuer.

First time at Fancourt & memorable experience. Staff all so welcoming & cheerful. Golf facilities are excellent with good chipping area. Housekeeping was superb - even doing things like cleaning your hairbrush (🤷‍♂️). Also looked forward to seeing what towel character awaited our return to the room. Spa was undergoing refurbishment so can’t comment on that. Couldn’t fault & already planning return next year

We stayed there as a family in the month of August under a group accommodation Facilities The hotel is well situated in George and quite a nice golf scenic location. Slightly remote from the town. The land is very large and beautifully greenish. You have a great sunset there, try not to miss it! We also have lots of premium residential areas which are easily accessible by foot or even by bike. Due to its large land size, you easily can do morning jog as well. You do feel you have escape from the everyday mundane life. And if you are golf lovers, you can feel right at home there to spend the day on the green. It has a large gym and kids section. Your kids will love it with a large playground and kids club as well as a swimming pool. Service The service is top notch Most of the waiter, reception, kids club staff and buggy attendant are very courteous and helpful. The food as well is great there. It has an open air restaurant which also connect on the inside. It has a second restaurant named La cantina as well but this also connects to the main restaurant/big dining room Room. We got a nice big family room, with chimney, private living room and bathroom. It was great! Nice decor/design. The room was very well cleaned daily. The bed was very comfortable. We had two TV - one in the bedroom and one in the living room The fireplace also was great as well. If ever you need to move around the area, feel free to call reception and a club car and take you

Fancourt was very accommodating both from an accommodation point of view as well as from children club point of view to cater for the needs of family weekend vacation. As a result Mom and Dad could enjoy their golf whilst the kids had a huge amount of fun at the children's club (to the point where they did not want to leave).

From running on estate early morning, to the gym facilities, full buffet breakfast, excellent golf course conditions, beautiful setting with mountain view, to festive atmosphere in the restaurant after golf, to world-class dinner with good South African wine, this place is the ultimate experience. Can't wait to return with my friends next year.

I visited Fancourt for conference, but I fell in love with the place the moment I arrived. The place is beautiful with caring staff who makes you feel at home. I enjoyed every bit of my stay at the hotel and would definitely return, but the next time, with my family.

Fantastic property with a very welcoming and helpful staff. The only bad thing about the trip was the really poor condition of the rental golf clubs. The 3 courses are all great in their own way but trying to play them with rubbish clubs spoiled the overall experience.

Our recent experience at Fancourt Hotel was above all expectations. From check in to accommodation to meals (and restaurant options) to personal attention across all departments was exceptional! What an amazing place!!

Just completed my 8th visit to Fancourt and a week before I was due to arrive I received an email from my tour operator that due to the length of my stay (10 nights) I was to be upgraded from the Executive rooms to the Manor House. What a surprise! I had a great time overall with golf on the Outeniqua and Montagu courses each day followed by afternoon tea, canapés and sparkling wine. I did not dine in the Henry White's restaurant at the Manor House as I tend to prefer the more relaxed atmosphere of La Cantina which was more than sufficient with great food and some of the staff in the evening and at breakfast remembering me from my previous visits. Many thanks. Many thanks also to the staff at the Manor House who made me most welcome. Guest facilities at the Manor House are excellent and include a lounge, bar and library solely for the use of Manor House guests and the suites are excellent with a large bathroom, separate lounge with very large TV and a good sized bedroom. Hopefully, if I manage to return next year, even if not staying at the Manor House again, they will allow me to borrow a book from the Manor House library which I didn't manage to finish before I had to leave. The staff all round cannot be faulted and are most helpful. This extends to the on course staff including the starters and the caddies. In fact, as well as playing with other guests on most days, on the one day I was scheduled to play on my own I had the pleasure of joining and playing the 2nd nine on the Montagu course with three of the caddies who were playing a match themselves and one of them, Dustin, caddied for me last year. Believe me, they are also good golfers with single figure handicaps. My thanks also to Juan who caddied for me this time around and put up with some of my not so good shots. As for the courses themselves, they are always in tip top condition with the putting surfaces giving me the most problems, not being used to such fast greens myself. Looking forward to another trip to Fancourt, hopefully next year.
