Der Löffler am Semmering Bed&Breakfast

Wir verbrachten ein paar Tage beim "Löffler" und waren sehr zufrieden. Zimmer und Bad sehr schön, das Bett eher weich. Frühstück ausgezeichnet und reichhaltig, Wünsche wurden flexibel und freundlich erfüllt. Der ganze Service war generell unkompliziert, nett und um das Wohl der Gäste sehr bemüht. Das Essen war sehr gut, Hauptspeisen-Portionen nicht sehr groß. Grandios sind die Süßspeisen. Die Salzburger Nockerl waren famos, die Torten/ Kuchen muss man täglich essen - wunderbarer Geschmack, gehaltvoll und doch nicht zu üppig. Besser geht's nicht, macht süchtig.

Wowes and stunned. We were driving towards lower part of Austria and Semmering is the mountain just approx 2.5hrs from Vienna, we drove in November ans just right entering the bottom of the Semmering mountain, we couldn’t stop because of the beautiful view covered by snow all over to the top where we found Der Loeffler. This family owned hotel located on the middle part in the mountain was the first ever chalet we have rented for just over a night yet the hospitality was amazing. very accommodating and warmth welcoming. the rooms were very spacious and absolutely gorgeous! and very clean indeed. Not to mention the views was mesmerizing. ❤️ the transportation is accessible by train from Vienna to Semmering station. From the station you need to have a car or a coach to go up to the mountain as the road was steep specially slippery when its winter. November was not their peak season althou we have enjoyed the snow fall, playing around the chalets and walking near by. The breakfast the following day, was next to none. all fresh and made fresh special the eggs. We wish we could have stayed even longer :)

Located a few hundred meters from the slopes, I must admit that this hotel surprised me a lot. I spent 3 nights having booked 2 rooms. The Hotel is run by a young and enthusiastic couple. Very kind and helpful people. The property has been recently renovated and is comfortable and very clean. The kitchen presents a few dishes but well executed. The only flaw I could point out is that I haven't received many offers of their famous cakes. Very interesting price/quality ratio. To be recommended

Wir haben hier ein gemütliches Wanderwochenende verbracht. Die Zimmer sind neu renoviert, wir hatten ein sehr geräumiges Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick auf den Zauberberg. Frühstück ausgezeichnet mit der Möglichkeit aus einer umfangreichen Frühstückskarte das zu wählen, worauf man gerade Gusto hat. Die Eier werden frisch zubereitet und das schmeckt man auch. Die Abendkarte und die Größe der Portionen sind ausreichend und recht schmackhaft, empfehlenswert die Torten zum Nachtisch. Gastgeberfamilie und Angestellte recht freundlich und engagiert. Sollten wir in der Gegend sein, kommen wir gerne wieder zum Löffler.
