阿德萊德屋頂花園飯店(Majestic Roof Garden Hotel)

Stayed here for the Easter long weekend, to say the least it was an amazing stay. Great location and awesome service.

Excellent service from this hotel. Brought up portacot when requested and stayed to talk to our baby. Very friendly and welcoming.

Staff are rude

The Majestic Roof Garden was an excellent base for a stay in Adelaide. Spacious, really well equipped, comfortable room (1st floor) and literally just round the corner from Rundle Street. Even the airport bus stop was less than 5 minutes walk away. So why not 5* rating? Really, some disappoin**ent from the name, which had drawn us to the hotel. Yes, there is a quite pleasant roof “garden” but no bar up there (unless, perhaps, you book it for a private function). After a long day’s journey was looking forward to an evening beer in the roof garden, so really disappointed to find couldn’t have one. Indeed, during our 3 night stay there was no operating bar at all in the hotel (nor evening restaurant). Yes, there were many bars and restaurants in the immediate area but that’s not always what you want. This issue aside though this was a really good, reasonably priced, base for our Adelaide trip. Be aware of the above and you won’t be disappointed.

Online I had saw there was a pool, I got there and there wasn’t. Can’t get refunded. I am 30 weeks pregnant and it was the only reason I booked the hotel. Had to pay extra for a porticot to be unfolded in my room… front desk Never answered their phone, I had to call via internet on phone. Boogers and weird poo like stains on sheets and walls, got sick off room service pizza.

Romm was supposed to have a balcony but it was a small enclosed room with no furniture. Also ordered a pizza from room service and they informed me that it was already prepared and they would heat it up and bring it straight up. It took over an hour to get it to me.

Hotel was nice but reception staff were terrible, need better training. Were told our reservation for tea was cancelled at checkin. Delivered breakfast packs to our room yo then be told they had been delivered to the wrong room and they cane to take back. Very unprofessional trea**ent.
