The resort is beautiful in a gorgeous location. However, don’t go early in the week as the spa, and activities aren’t open. The swimming pools weren’t open as promised at checkin and the activities list wasn’t accurate. There was only one restaurant open for a five day stay with the same menu daily. I feel we should have been given an early week discount at the very least.

The website touted the pools and hot tub of which neither was functioning. The pool is not heated so it was freezing and none of the hot tubs was working. Even the spring schedule sheet given at check in touted the pool and hot tub so we knew that it was early season but nothing was as promised. Only one restaurant was open. Sheets had a big stain. Very disappointing for a $400/night stay.

The services have declined overall under new management and much of the property is either not open or Under Construction. Lots of issues with communication with front desk and many things lost in translation. Very sad to see a property like this declining because it used to be my favorite place to stay

Vous ne viendrez pas par hasard dans ce lieu magnifique. C’est vraiment un des plus hotels du monde où nous avons séjourné. Tout est fait pour que votre séjour soit au top et le personnel est vraiment là pour vous. Les restaurants sont de qualités et le musée du propriétaire est à tomber par terre. Allez y vous ne pouvez pas être déçu

I live in the Southwest and wanted to find a relaxing spot in CO or Utah where there might be some spectacular views of fall trees and red rocks. Had Moab in mind but this popped up when I searched for Moab. The views and the resort grounds are absolutely beautiful. We booked their lowest-price room which was large, quiet, comfortable (w fridge and wet bar) and, most importantly, had a fabulous view. We were there to hike and enjoy the views, so we did not use the spa or participate in any of the offered activities (horseback riding, jeep trips, archery…) We did use the restaurant which was pleasant and reasonably priced — which is important because there are no restaurants nearby.

Pros; Hotel room was very nice, the property beautiful, and the staff around the hotel were super friendly. It was a great place to spend time with family. Variety of hikes nearby and the property grounds are well maintained. Cons; in general, an expensive getaway for what was offered. Numerous additional fees in final bill, some of which were not disclosed ahead of time. The 18% additional resort fee was known, but seemed expensive for much of the resort not being operational during our stay. Be aware that car museum, spa, and activity center are not open everyday (beginning of the week was not a great time to go). Currently one of the two pool areas was open and there is one dinner restaurant available (our experience was that it was ok, not amazing).

The room accommodations meet all needs. Comfy beds, great hot showers, quiet rooms, coffee makers with cream, windows that open to let birdsong in. Very good menus with wonderful flavorful food. Beautiful natural landscape surrounds the premises amid surrounding canyons and valleys. Every employee was a joy to meet. It is a perfect place for a quiet getaway but has all the offerings of a more adventurous visit if that is what you are looking for.

What a beautiful place. the fall colors were amazing. Off season and the main dining and 2nd pool were closed. The food in the restaurant is reasonably priced (especially considering you are "stuck" there), and is exceptional! Will return!
