杜爾納馬克之聲

We verbleven in de Western Wagon. Super gezellig, mooi en proper verzorgd, rustig en met prachtig uitzicht op de omgeving. Met een warm welkom werden we onthaald door Mike en Linda. 2 fantastische mensen die je direct thuis doen voelen. Met veel voorbereidend opzoekingswerk en tips van Mike en Linda hebben we ten volle kunnen genieten van alles wat Schotland te bieden heeft. Een schitterende vakantie in de wilde, ongerepte natuur. We kunnen de Western Wagon, maar ongetwijfeld ook het Tiny House alleen maar aanraden! Wij komen zeker nog terug!

Nous avons été bien recus. La tiny house offre une belle vue sur le loch et la nature et un beau point de depart pour explorer la côte. Tres bien équipée, lits très confortables et avec les enfants les 2 chambres sont appréciables. Nous n'avons pas mis 5 étoiles car le logement n'était pas très propre (de nombreux poils d'animaux à l'intérieur, toiles d'araignées et poussière). Nous n'avons hélas pas pris le temps de déguster des pancakes mais ce Pancake Barn peut s'avérer très pratique !

Everything about Mike and Linda’s place is fantastic! We stayed in the Rustic Barn and it was wonderful- very cosy, comfortable and everything we needed for our stay. Mike and Linda are wonderful, so friendly and accommodating and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back 😊

We stayed in the Western Waggon. It was so comfortable and cosy, and the views are spectacular. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our three night stay. The beds were really comfortable and it was so peaceful. We would definitely visit again.

Our stay in the Western Wagon was marvellous and romantic. Linda and Maik are very helpfull and kind people. The wagon is fully equiped, so you can cook your own meal when you like. Its a peacful and quiet place, with beautiful sea view, lots of birds aroud, we saw a fox, some deer from our window/ porch. So take your binoculars! The surroundings /nature around are lovely. You need a little drive with your car or bike but than you can take lovely hikes to waterfalls, visit Ullapool, or have dinner in nearby (6 mile) hotel/restaurant with local food and local music on the right day, and visit stunning beaches and bays.

This place was a real find. We didn't really appreciate the beauty of the setting beside Little Loch Broom when we booked. The tiny house was really well appointed and warm. We cooked 3 full evening meals with no trouble. The house is also really cosy. Our 6 year old loved his space upstairs (and let's face it, so did I!) and the games and toys kindly also left inside the house. The hosts were quite simply lovely, taking time to talk to our little boy and ourselves about the local area. If you get a chance also try the pancakes-a treat to have so close by. While we stayed we completed 9 miles on a loop from Poolewe round Loch Kernsary (it's only 6.5 but we did a few extra bits) and took in the waterfall at the Correshalloch gorge, as well as a climb up to the top of Ullapool Hill. A magical home in a magical place.
