quaint rooms, a little pricey but location is good.

This was such a quaint authentic German Gasthaus nestled in the heart of the Garmisch community. We were treated to traditional German food, live music, yodeling, and dancing during the evenings. Would recommend for anyone looking for the authentic thing!

I liked the cozy feel of being family run, they were super helpful and friendly. The entertainment with dinner was fun and lively. I wish they would have had several less expensive dinner options, perhaps with smaller portions. I did not realize when I booked that there was no elevator, and being over 70, I would've requested being on the 1st floor.

Great place to stay in Garmisch Great place! Barbara warmly greeted us upon our arrival. My room was lovely with an outdoor sitting area with beautiful views. Loved the location in historic Garmisch. Nice restaurants and shops in our street. We had breakfast one morning at the hotel and it was also great perfect to start our day. I would recommend and stay here again.

Ein herzlichst geführtes Haus, das etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Sehr ruhig im Nebenhaus, das Frühstück ein Augenschmaus, das Abendessen in bester bayrischer Manier, Parkplätze etwas knapp (wer zu spät kommt.....), andererseits sehr zentral gelegen. Besonders zu erwähnen sind die bestgelaunten und sehr kompetenten Servicekräfte, gepaart mit einer Küche, die auch bei speziellen Wünschen nicht überfordert ist. Alles in allem jederzeit weiter zu empfehlen.
