The earliest checkin time on the day of arrival was 4pm. After we got off our flight at Shannon Airport at 7.15pm there was an answer phone message informing us that they had resold our room and cancelled our booking as we were deemed to be a “no show”. Their only suggestion was to “find another hotel”. How can they deem us a no show just 3 hours after the earliest checkin? This was supposedly a 4 star hotel and the only last minute option was to downgrade to 3 star on our special milestone birthday celebration trip. Appalling treatment of customers
