First off, this is just my experience. I would stay here again, but I'd pay for the cheaper room on the lower floors.
We stayed here with friends and they were on a different floor and had a lovely experience. I stayed on the 5th floor for the use of the private and the communal balcony. The communal balcony didn't have any furniture on it and unfortunately, we were given room 512 whose balcony abuts the air conditioning unit for the building. Lovely room, poor balcony placement. Ironically, our climate control wasn't working. We were told after calling down a few times it couldn't be fixed until the morning so we slept with our balcony door open to the sweet hum of the A/C unit. When we returned from our adventures the next day, we were told the AC wasn't going to be fixed until the following day and they graciously rebooked us a room. We went back to 512 to pack up and the AC was on! So we got to stay. On the final day, we returned to the hotel to find that the piece of the door which controls how fast it opens/closes was completely ripped from the door. We notified staff just because we didn't want to be charged.
All that being said, 98% of the staff were incredibly kind and easy to work with. They apologized for the snafus and I understand they did the best they could with a completely full hotel. The location is unbeatable AND it has parking!
We would stay again on a lower floor. It's worth the price for the lower floors, not the top.
