Relax at Diani beach and stay at Lantana Galu. Visited this hotel from Dec-28-2023 through Dec-31-2023. Lantana Galu provided a cool shelter in the hot Kenya coast weather. Easy access to the beach and the string of restaurants along the Diani beach road. Great service and hospitality.

Unfortunately I was not able to stay here but my experience is valid to state here. I was visiting Kenya, Lamu was suggested. So last minute the week before Christmas I did a search for hotels and Lantana Galu came up. I wrote to them completing the enquiry sheet online and waited nearly 36 hours no response. So I called and spoke to Timna. She said we would respond. One night stay for 2 people I was asked to pay $440 to reserve a penthouse. I did so and within 48 hours realized on landing Mombasa that Lantana Galu was in Diani and not Lamu. I made this request Lantana Galu 36 hours before my scheduled arrival. I was passed from one person to another, told that the email I sent is no where in their system and to send another. 48 hours after I have called repeatedly with no one taking my calls , informed Sophia and Timna about the situation requesting a refund. But to date nothing from LG.

Went back after 11 years and it was still as beautiful as it was then. Well maintained. Booked 3br and 2 br apartments. I was very lucky to get a booking at the last minute. Good service, friendly staff, spacious and clean apartments. The mattress was firmer than I’d have liked but still got rest. Apartments were cleaned rather late, after 5pm. Access to clean and safe beach, you can stay in the pool till 7pm, kids loved that. There are camel rides and water activities at the beach. It was hotter than usual this time, the ocean breeze by the pool was excellent for keeping cool. The staff were proactive and always asked if you need assistance. Great experience!

Amazing service, friendly staff, great yoga with Tina & Thule. I am going back for the next yoga retreat 🥰🙏🏻😎excellent food, clean and nice rooms, fantastic view, perfect long weekend, spa was 👍🏻

Had a wonderful time at the yoga and fitness retreat hosted at Lantana! It was the perfect balance of physical movement and rest with a lovely group of participants and fantastic teachers. Hope to be able to join again!

We had a fantastic time at Lantana Galu beach. The staff were amazing, helpful and warm. Our Villa was super clean, spacious and private. We loved relaxing on the veranda or inside. The beach was serene, not busy and the ocean water spectacular. My son enjoyed the pool daily as well. We loved the food, room service was also a great convenience. Taxi pickup and for getting around Diani was also great. A big thank you to all the hotel. We will definitely be back !

I loved the yoga retreat organized by Thule and Tina at Lantana Galu. The fitness and yoga sessions were great. The whole programme is a perfect mix of exercise and relaxation and includes delicious vegetarian meals designed by Tina and Thule. I hope I‘ll get to attend again in future! The hotel itself has a great location right by the beach and the staff is very friendly!

I haven't done a lot of yoga, but doing Ashtanga with Tina I realised I have maybe never done yoga before in the sense of combining mind, body, and spirit. I had loved the idea of having the option to do both yoga/meditation and fitness, and found that Tina made it easy for me to tailor the practice to suit the intensity I wanted each time - and Thule was super flexible about fitting in the exercise around everything. Everything was unfussy but executed in detail with grace, and communication was excellent. The impressive veggie menu was designed with elaborate care and served with ease, and Lantana management were fantastic in responding considerately and quickly to my request regarding the room. It's a peaceful place and though it rained or drizzled often I didn't mind at all because in Diani it felt, as they say, like a blessing. Finally - the people were great human beings with whom I shared meaningful conversations - unsurprising after you meet Tina and Thule and realise that like attracts like . . . Can't recommend it enough - both for someone wanting a beach holiday with a bit extra, and someone who wants an invigorating, grounding challenge.

An exceptional oasis in Diani Beach. Upon arrival when the big gates open you are greeted with a beautiful white grand entrance to the facility. The friendliest front desk personnel welcome you into this magnificent architecture design. The pictures might not do it justice (you have to see it for yourself). As you make your way to the villas the grounds are meticulously maintained. This place is amazing, exceptionally clean rooms, very spacious rooms and facilities. It is perfect for a romantic get away peaceful and the sunsets are breath taking. If you have a group of friend its also perfect for having a party or get together. The Chefs are on point with the food, world class cuisine and very fresh and delicious food is served. The staff are some of the friendliest people you will meet. We exchanged stories and it felt like we bonded. I was very sad to leave my new found friends. I cannot say enough about this place, Lantana Galu Beach. I am already planning another trip back. I was here for 10 memorable days. Best vacation I have had.
