Broad River Campground Cabins & Domes

We stayed in the campground. There was a group of 7 in 4 rigs. We are a camping club and we usually have 10 or more rigs at our monthly campouts but this time we were a small group. Broad River still treated us well with a swag bag given to each rig as they checked in. It was really hot the weekend we were there but the pool was refreshing and never crowded. We made use of their air-conditioned community room for our Saturday night covered dish and also to play games. Saturday night there was a DJ playing different genres of music which appealed to our group. The towns around the campground have many restaurants to enjoy plus the Broad River Greenway. As a group we decided it could use a few trees for shade but since the campground is not very old, I imagine at some point trees wll be added near the RV campsites. The tenting area is set among trees so it was well shaded and the setting gave privacy to the individual tent sites. The staff was very cordial and helpful. If I wanted to camp in the Mooresboro, NC area I would not hesitate to camp there again.

Beautiful campground with spacious sites and several beautiful cabins. RV sites are long level and wide. Very nice swimming pool and a covered patio with corn hole alone with other games to play. Also a hiking trail to a creek and the broad river where you can fish. Very well maintained campground. This will be my go to campground. I wouldn’t change a thing, however I would recommend having live music.

We stayed in the cabins for my daughters wedding down the road. It was very convenient. The staff was very accommodating and the cabins where great. everything was clean, everything needed in kitchen was there. we also had the rehearsal dinner in the common space, this was perfect with both indoor and outdoor areas and a kitchen to help with prep. Overall the best spot for the entire weekend!!
