I had a fantastic stay at Suffix Retreat during my dive trip to Fuvahmulah with my partner stayed in a private Residence. After she departed, I thought about moving to another hotel and decided to book this place, and it turned out to be a great decision. The island-style house is both charming and well-equipped, and the communal kitchen is a real asset for those staying longer. It provides the convenience to cook your meals and enjoy home-cooked comfort while taking in the island’s serene vibe. Although the guesthouse had a regular flow of guests, it never felt crowded, and I enjoyed interacting with other travelers. The owner's attentive presence made the stay even more enjoyable, making sure everything was just right. If you're a diver looking for a spot where you can connect with others while still having your privacy, Suffix Retreat is an excellent choice for both comfort and camaraderie.

Absolutely terrible, we didn’t know about the power house prior to our vacation. Let me tell you it’s impossible to sleep. We checked out after the second night and rather spent a bunch of money for another hotel as this would have ruined our vacation in the worst way possible. Never got any refund .. despite the hotel manager promising we would. Pretty pissed about that

There is a powerhouse (generators for electricity for the entire island) right next to the hotel. Locals told us the day we arrived it changed to a bigger also louder .. it was terrible. The noise was 24/7 we couldn’t even sleep. After the first night we changed to a different hotel, hoping we would get at least some of our money back. The hotel manager lied straight into our faces, told us he would give us most of our money back once he received it from booking .. more than a month later we never got anything back!! Most horrible stay I had in my whole life. Don’t know how the hotel can have so many 5* reviews .. I can’t imagine anyone enjoys sleeping next to a generator. Only explanation I have is that they must be fake ..

Our room at suffix retreat was lovely. Super modern and the bed was so comfortable. The gentleman in charge of suffix retreat was so helpful, the WiFi in our room was poor when we first arrived however on our second day he installed a booster and after this the WiFi was perfect! The location was a little far from the Northern touristy area but you can hire a bike from the hotel or hop on the bus every half an hour for very cheap. I definitely recommend this place to stay, simple and brilliant.

Great place! Very clean and tidy rooms. Every room has kattle and small fridge. There is also a big kitchen with kettle, big frindge and all kinds of plates, bowls etc. So it is not a peoblem to make your own meal. The beach and local shops are nearby. The owner speaks english and is very kind. He makes breakfast at what time is needed. Every second day the room is cleaned. Beds are very comfortable. In room is fan plus air condition. The huge advantage is patio where you can sit with friends and talk. There is also a place to wash your scuba equipment. The hotel is in the middle of island so it is a perfect localisation. Everywhere is short distance.

지은지 얼마 안됐는지 시설이 깨끗하고 청소가 잘되어있습니다. 일하시는분들이 매우 친절하며, 안쪽에 프라이빗한 정원과 주방을 이용할 수 있어요. 불끄면 별이 잘보입니다. 다시 푸물라를 방문한다면 다시 이곳을 이용할듯 합니다. 200자를 채워야하네요. 순두 비치 너무 예쁩니다. 데이트 장소로 추천드립니다! 당충전이 필요할땐 드리퍼스에서 바닐라 아이스크림을 먹어보세요.
