Fantastische Lage und das Zimmer mit Meerblick, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer (29 am) gebucht. Das Zimmer war ordentlich, aber 29 am wage ich zu bezweifeln. In Urlaub bin ich jedoch großzügig und forschte nicht nach. Frühstücksbüffet gut, aber kaum Abwechslung. Das abendliche Büffet hingegen für einen täglichen Aufpreis von 30€ grenzwertig. Einfachste und sehr simple Gerichte die auf Kantinenniveau liegen. Ein deklarierter Hummersalat besteht aus Surumi!. An zwei Abenden gab es Pangasiusfisch! Ein mehr als fragwürdiger Zuchtfisch aus Asien. Als Vorspeisen Schinkenwürfel, Dosenthunfisch, gekochte Eier, einfachste Salate usw.! Ein 5-gängiges Weihnachtsmenü für 170€ und ein 5-gängiges Silvestermenü für 250€ !!!! Wert jeweils max. 70€! .es wurde mit den einfachsten Lebensmitteln (z.B. wieder Surumi) In den Preisen waren Getränke enthalten … ein Glas Sekt zur Begrüßung, Weiß- oder Rotwein (im Supermarkt ca. 5€). Fazit; Ich würde das Hotel mit Frühstück jederzeit wieder buchen. Niemals (!!!) mehr mit Halbpension.

Was expecting great things from the hotel having been recommended it from a leading holiday firm Sadly the reality was really disappointing. The reception area is nice - the female receptionist who greeted me was functional rather than pleasant and certainly gave the impression that she didn’t want to be there The room was OK but certainly by no means superior - very limited choice on the TV, an extremely noisy air conditioning unit that didn’t work all the time making for an uncomfortable nights sleep and some of the plugs didn’t work. There was a fridge in the room but the water in it isn’t free and extortionately priced. The bed average. The phone in the room going off sporadically was even more frustating Breakfast was guess what to have as service staff were invisible - the buffet had seen better days and the coffee was grim with watered down orange juice. When you could find a server and ordered an omelette it was good - about the only thing about the hotel that was apart from the Sea View - shame about the badly appointed balcony We made the mistake of booking half board - big mistake - served buffet style and hideous. Forget about a drink with dinner - an distinctly average and over priced wine served by a staff member who didn’t seem that keen about her job Wish I could be more positive about my staff but having been to Madeira countless times this is by far the worst hotel I have stayed in on the island - as another reviewer said the Enotel Lido down the road is far nicer and a much better experience. Tried to express what we thought to the Manager - but surprise surprise they don’t speak to guests - says it all really !

First time staying here First the positives - the reception area is nice. The omelette’s are made to order and the highlight of a dull breakfast buffet Now the negatives - where to begin - reception staff with an attitude I could do without. The room - not 4 star by any stretch of the imagination - air conditioning that worked when it felt like it. Bed was just OK - and the most astonishing part they actually charge you for the bottled water in the fridge which in this day and age is quite frankly outrageous. I was staying half board - the breakfast buffet was pretty grim, the evening buffet horrendous and didn’t even include a drink and served by staff who quite clearly don’t want to be there. The bar area is soul-less and way overpriced drinks Quite frankly one to avoid - there are hotels just down the road that are nicer, that have friendly staff and that actually make you feel like a valued visitor

Bon emplacement pour cet hôtel. Chambre avec vue mer. Chambre pas dingue et pas très propre. Abat jour avec des grosses traces, toilettes qui fuient. Lit confortable et petit déjeuner correct. Nous n'avons pas dîner a l'hôtel. Petit parking à dispo selon disponibilité. Par contre mention spéciale au personnel : ultra sympa et serviable !

hotel petit par sa taille mais très grand par sa qualité avec une vue exceptionnelle sur mer et funchal . très belle chambres avec une propreté irréprochable . quand au personnel très aimable gentil toujours prêt a vous rendre service et avec le sourire . j ai eu l'impression d'être reçu par des amis . pour la 2 fois dans cet hotel que recommande fortement
