The "40 Steps" Cabin Tiny house

Do not be misled by this deceptive listing. Even though the third and the sixth photos on the listing show a bathroom with a toilet and a sink and even though the listing clearly states “1 bathroom, 1 half bathroom” with Bathroom 1 Toilet - Shower only and Bathroom 2 Bathtub - Toilet - Shower only” do not be tricked into thinking that there is actually a bathroom in this cabin. There is not. We did see a couple of port o potties several hundred yards away in the park and there is supposedly a bathroom located somewhere in another building on the property. The listing does say that it’s 40 steps to the bathhouse, but the photos give the appearance that the bathrooms are in the cabin. It also says that there is a kitchen. After arriving and seeing how badly we’d been deceived, we asked for a refund, but they refused. Don’t waste your money on this. We are 67 and not a place for comport.

This cabin was very cozy and the mattress in this cabin...is the best mattress I have ever slept on. Had the camp ground to ourselves and enjoyed the warm shower in the bath house. Would recommend the place to everyone I know. Will come back again. Cindy Szymanski...Indianapolis indiana

Pictures aren't accurate!! The cabin was clean, cute, with all the necessities....except a bathroom! The pictures of the cabin show a toilet and shower stall - it is not in this cabin!! Or anywhere. The bathrooms were clean, just a good walk (40 steps?) from the cabin. The showers, however, were not clean, so much so that my friend wouldn't even let me look. I know it's off-season, but still would expect a clean place to shower.

Cute but no bathroom attached Upon arrival we realized the bathrooms were a good distance from the cabin, which wasn't clearly stated. Being seniors the risk was to great walking around outdoors at night to use the restroom. The cabin was clean and cute. But had to find more suitable accommodations for our age.
