Brew your morning coffee in the Keurig, and Mr. Coffee makers and enjoy it while watching the waves from the screened porch just off the kitchen. POOL and HOT TUB are opened from MAY 1st until OCTOBER 1ST. The pool is NOT heated. We recommend lowering your tire pressure to 15-20 psi so bring a tire pressure gauge along. Tires can be re-inflated at any of the area gas stations or the county put in FREE air stations at the Historic Corolla Park, 1100 Club Road, Corolla. The Park is on the sound side of the road. Turn in at the park road, make a right at the stop sign and another quick right into the gravel parking lot. The air up stations will be at the end of the lot. Check area tide charts prior to arrival. Low tide is ideal for beach driving. Follow all posted speed limits (35 mph or 15 mph when within 300 feet of pedestrians or wild horses). Drive on the hard-packed sand near the edge of the water or close to the dunes. Leave the middle of the beach available for parked vehicles. Drivers must be 16 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. ATVs are not permitted. Also, Currituck County does not allow personal motorized watercraft on the ocean. Jet skis and personal motorboats are allowed on the Currituck Sound. The closest boat ramp is located at the Whalehead Club in Corolla. Due to shallow water and grass, this ramp is suitable for small craft only.
