Lovely little hotel in beautiful surrounding. Fro sham is a lovely place and the staff were excellent. Really enjoyed my stay!

Brilliant location on Ollerton Hill with views over the river mersey and ship canal .10 min walk into Frodsham The spa facilities are really good and the restaurant was reasonably priced

Love the location and peacefulness of this hotel. Rooms are big and quiet, bonus if a pool and gym. Stayed twice here and would return.

There needs to be more food choice. Maintence IE change or repairs to doors or radiators should not be carried whilst guests are relaxing, working or having a late sleep in. On 2 occasions maintence staff worked for several hours ruining my stay. Very very noisey.

Lovely location surrounded by countryside just a few minutes drive from the main town . Basic but clean rooms only downside for me were the comfort of the pillows but that's a personal preference. Staff were helpful. Great to have the addition of pool/sauna was some confusion with our hourly slot booking for this so make sure they take your name when booking. Food was lovely in the restaurant too.

Room incredibly hot opened window but no effect and couldn’t sleep. Receptionist in morning not really interested said new heating system which clearly wasn’t working. No offer of compensation etc stop at your peril.

Service from the check-in desk and the bar was lovely, Food from the restaurant was absolutely perfect could not fault it in the slightest credit to the chef and kitchen staff! Location has great views from the war memorial which is just a couple of minutes walk away lovely in the daytime and stunning at night with a clear sky I was very happy with our stay the only thing I would comment on is the interior design of the rooms was a bit dated and could really transform the place with a revamp but i knew this prior to booking from other reviews it didn’t put me off as these things are only aesthetic and didn’t really affect our time spent here

Despite a bad start with having the a double bed instead of a twin room which I'd booked they were able to provide me with another room within a few hours. The rooms could do with updating. No USB charging points and very old bathroom suites. But overall clean and staff were friendly.

Strange experience. I was given a disabled room for no reason. This also had a really slippy bathroom floor. The room was roasting, It’s not the hotels fault of the great weather we have had. The fan supplied was no good as it kept tripping out. Then the cleaner opened the door without knocking at 09:00 in the morning which was awkward. Massive shame really.
