I have stayed 4 days but no one cleaned my room after my request, fridge was noisy, in total terrible experience

First- I was checking in & apparently the internet went down but she told me not to worry I was not charged twice - which I was! So I’m still waiting to see if both charges will drop. Next the room smelled horrible, I guess musty is the word. The A/C did not hardly work and dripped water all in the carpet, which I guess it had been doing for awhile. It was completely wet and the smell was bad. Glad we only had a one night stay. This was not worth the hundred and something I paid for it.

Horrible experience! Reserved through *******. Drove two hours to get there. Arrived at night to be told that they double booked my room. I was alone with my two daughters and furious!! All the front desk lady did was stare at me when I expressed how unprofessional that was. I never received a call or message of any kind cancelling my room. Never again will I book with Candlewood! Very unprofessional!!

I was phoned at 4:00pm on the day of our arrival and was notified that the hotel was overbooked. I tried to call the front desk 3 times to verify that I was not being scammed. First, the phone was answered and then hung up. Second, the phone was answered and played on the counter (I could hear people talking but no one answered) and the last time the person answered and hung up on me as I was talking. I verified that the hotel was overbooked at 6:00pm and then received a call at 1:00AM asking if I was still coming to stay! Geez.

I booked this hotel in September. When we arrived in March they did not have a room available for us. It took an hour to sort everything out with ********** for a new hotel. **********e was very helpful.

We were very disappointed in our stay. The only reason we chose this hotel was because it was walking distance to Toyota stadium. The only positive was the front staff were very nice. We wanted to make coffee in our room bu the inside of the water container was not clean. When we went to get coffee downstairs, they either were out of cups or out of coffee. The hotel was very noisy, very thin walls. You could hear people coming and going all night long. It sounded like there was a family either above us or next door, we couldn’t tell. But you coukd hear kids running, shouting and playing all night until about one in the morning. We thought this was strange, because our last night was a Sunday night, and it sounded like small children. Not sure if their parents weren’t present. We were wondering if they were a homeless family living in the room. Very strange. Very unpleasant experience, never would stay here again!!

The hotel was nice and clean, the staff were great. I only wish they offered breakfast! And last thing since when did the $50 dollar deposit jump to $75? Seems a bit high. It seems like the hotels put the deposit against your account immediately, but it takes 5 to 10 days to return the money. Overall not a bad stay.

Stay was great. But sadly there is no breakfast facilities otherwise the stay was pleasant.
